Caterpillar Inc. seeks IT Analyst - Applications at its facility located at 812 W Washington St, East Peoria, IL 61630.
This role is a team member of the Caterpillar IT enterprise data services group. Will be responsible for delivering finance systems, enterprise product cost (EPC) and profitability analysis toolkit (PAT) services to customers throughout the enterprise. Will work directly with financial, EPC and PAT principal teams to provide continual agile support, development, implementation and leadership to our internal business partners. These applications maintain multiple distributed source systems, analytical tools, and data warehousing environments which contain large volumes of data. Will work in a complex environment that is challenging to manage and ultimately leverages into value-added insights for our businesses.
REQS: This position requires a bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent in Information Science, Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related field and 5 years of experience as an IT Analyst or related position.
Additionally, the applicant must have employment experience with (1) Data Modeling, Data Load Strategies, Data Validation, Data Export to consuming systems, Error Handling, Base object creation, Landing object creation, Staging object creation, Match and Merge Process, and Building Hierarchy for Customer and Supplier entities; (2) SQL, database concepts & Unix Shell scripting; (3) Snowflake data warehouse experience in AWS; (4) Databases such as: Teradata, SQL Server, Oracle, and DB2; (5) Architecting, designing, developing and implementing small to large-scale integration solutions in DataStage and SnapLogic; and (6) Developing scalable simple to complex API web services using ETL, DataStage, and SnapLogic platforms.
Summary Pay Range:
$132,101.00 - $143,520.00
