As the Internal Communications Director, you will develop strategies to engage and inform employees through various channels and assist leadership in effective communication.
As the Head of Internal Communications at Riveron, you are responsible for developing and executing robust communications plans that inspire and inform our professionals. You will partner with firm leadership and other key stakeholders to narrate our identity, craft thoughtful plans, and foster engagement within our dynamic workforce. Leveraging your expertise, you will engage our diverse audience through compelling communication methods, ensuring that Riveron employees stay connected and updated during a period of exciting firm growth.
Who You Are:
- Minimum 8 years of experience in internal, executive, or corporate communications
- Proven experience in implementing communications initiatives that inspire and engage employees
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, including tailoring content in various voices for different audiences
- Understanding of crisis communications and change management
- Proficient in creating communication products across multiple channels, including video, newsletters, PowerPoint presentations, emails, and virtual events
- Ability to build strong relationships with peers and senior leaders
- In-depth understanding of internal and corporate communications best practices
- Familiarity with internal communications tools, such as large-event Teams and Zoom meetings, email distribution lists, SharePoint intranet and video, Staffbase (Bananatag), Poppulo
What You'll Do:
- Develop and execute an impactful internal communications strategy in alignment with business goals and objectives
- Cultivate engagement through transparent and authentic leadership communications, expanding messaging to inform on pivotal developments, promote our distinctive culture, and celebrate our talented individuals
- Establish robust partnerships with the leadership team (primarily executive leaders, business unit leaders, and local-market leaders), acting as a strategic communications advisor
- Harness Riveron’s employee value proposition to conceive and craft innovative, engaging content, spanning leadership announcements, videos, slides, newsletters, printed materials, win announcements, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) communications, and more
- Collaborate with HR stakeholders, business segments, local markets, and corporate functions to communicate key initiatives and business priorities clearly and compellingly to diverse audiences
- Stay abreast of firm developments and elevate employee awareness of important news, events, organizational changes, and culture-building initiatives
- Own content strategy and execution for quarterly Town Hall meetings and other leadership calls
- Develop and maintain a network of key internal stakeholders to understand and respond to employee feedback across all levels and teams
- Identify innovative ways to foster connectivity between employees and firm leaders
- Act as the lead point of contact for the firmwide intranet site, partnering with teams and individuals across the firm to post compelling content
- Monitor internal communications best practices, staying ahead of the curve and determining whether to optimize, invest in, or replace existing tools and processes
- Support content development for critical firm touchpoints, including managing director retreats, board meetings, and business segment meetings
- Benchmark and address employee feedback through two-way communication mechanisms, including employe engagement survey strategy and execution
