The intern will work closely with Sales Operations, Commercial Strategy, Finance, and Systems & Analytics teams to support day to day analysis, reporting, and process improvement efforts. Key Responsibilities
Sales Analytics & Reporting Support
- Assist with preparing sales reports, dashboards, and recurring performance summaries.
- Support data validation and basic data quality checks across Salesforce and reporting tools.
- Analyze historical sales data and trends to support forecasting and business reviews.
Territory & Account Planning Support
- Help maintain territory and account data, including basic alignment updates and documentation.
- Support analysis related to coverage models and account segmentation.
Forecasting & Pipeline Support
- Assist with compiling pipeline and forecast inputs from sales teams.
- Support pipeline hygiene efforts by identifying missing or inconsistent data.
Pricing & Deal Support
- Assist in building and maintaining simple pricing analysis tools or templates.
- Support deal review preparation by compiling data and performing basic margin or volume analyses.
Process Improvement & Commercial Projects
- Participate in cross‑functional projects focused on sales process optimization and operational efficiency.
- Help document current‑state processes and identify opportunities to streamline workflows.
Business Reviews & Presentations
- Support the preparation of materials for sales business reviews and internal presentations.
- Summarize key findings and insights in a clear, structured format for senior team members.
Digital Tools & Enablement
- Assist with maintaining documentation and job aids for sales tools and reporting platforms.
- Provide feedback on usability of dashboards and commercial tools from an end‑user perspective.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Work collaboratively with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Contracting, and Analytics teams.
- Gain exposure to how Sales Operations partners across the organization to drive execution.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree (Junior or Senior preferred) in Business, Finance, Economics, Analytics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills with interest in data‑driven decision making.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with PowerPoint required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized with attention to detail.
- Ability to learn quickly and work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Coursework or exposure to sales analytics, commercial operations, or strategy.
- Familiarity with Salesforce, Power BI, or other analytics tools is a plus.
- Interest in healthcare, life sciences, or pharmaceutical industries.
