About the Program:
The 10-week Zayo Summer Internship Program is designed to cultivate the next generation of telecommunications professionals. Interns will gain meaningful, hands-on experience within a dynamic, fast-paced, and innovative environment. Our goal is to empower, develop, and connect our interns while fostering fresh perspectives and ideas that will drive our organization forward.
Program Details:
Start Date: June 2025
Duration: 10 weeks
Location: Denver-based preferred, based on hiring team’s needs.
Zayo is seeking a Product Intern - Advanced and Managed Services to collaborate with Product Managers to perform business analysis and present recommendations resulting from such analysis for product enhancements / developments. The Product Intern - Advanced and Managed Services will also contribute to ongoing projects involving large-scale data sets and automation.
Responsibilities:

Take ownership of assigned tasks, move quickly to gather feedback, and improve the work you deliver.

Assisting Product Managers with tasks like market research, data analysis, and product documentation, while gaining experience in product development and strategy.

Assist in creating and maintaining product documentation, including user guides and training materials.

Conduct market research to understand customer needs, identify trends, and analyze competitor activities.

Help maintain clear documentation of your work and share insights with your team.

Assist with product development activities, such as testing and quality assurance.
Qualifications:

Applicants must have completed their sophomore year and be enrolled in a degree or certificate seeking program for the fall semester of 2025.

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Finance, Data Analysis, Business Management or a related field.

Action-oriented and a self-starter who can independently complete tasks and integrate feedback.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and ability to think abstractly.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in data analysis tools and software.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Interest in networking, internet infrastructure, and network automation.

Eagerness to work with large data sets and solve data-related challenges.
The base pay range shown is a guideline and reasonable estimate for this role. It takes into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted range based upon geographic location, work experience, skill level, certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
Additionally, this position may be eligible for certain benefits, such as health insurance and 401(k).

Estimated base pay range: $20.00 - $22.00 USD/hour.
