About Dexcom’s Summer Intern Program:  

Looking to spend your summer working with innovative technology and changing the lives of patients with diabetes? Dexcom’s U.S. 12-week internship program provides an experience driven program aimed at developing the next generation of talent. Our onsite, hybrid, and remote work models ensure that we can invite diverse and talented intern classes from across the country. Interns will have the chance to gain knowledge and develop their skills while contributing to key company projects and initiatives. Dexcom interns have earned the nickname of “Game Changers” based on their ability to leave a lasting impact on our organization. We are excited to welcome our next class of Game Changers for summer 2025!   

 

Internship Department Details:  

  • Department Name: Global Product Design 

  • Business Function: Product Design for Dexcom software 

  •  Team Highlights:  We are a multi-disciplinary team of user experience designers, visual designers, instructional designers, industrial designers, user researchers, and software developers. We collaborate closely with each other, engineering, and product management to create highly usable, beautiful products that make a true impact to millions of people around the globe.

  • You deliver breakthrough user-centered UX designs that are usable, safe, meaningful, and actionable for patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals. 

  • You will contribute to the team by presenting data in a way that users can understand and act on.  

  • You provide user-centric design thinking to prioritize, define and solve problems. 

  • You own results are accountable for design decisions.

Experience and Education Requirements:  

  • Requires a high school diploma/certificate or equivalent. 

  • Must be a currently enrolled student at an accredited college or university with an expected graduation date of December 2025 or later. 

 

Non-Exempt Salary Details: 

  • The annualized base salary range for this role is $22.00 to $25.00. Annualized values for non-exempt (hourly) positions are estimates, final annualized salary will depend on total hours worked. Final compensation package will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, business needs and market demand. 

Remote Workplace: Your location will be a home office; you are not required to live within commuting distance of your assigned Dexcom site (typically 75 miles/120km). If you reside within commuting distance of a Dexcom site (typically 75 miles/120km) a hybrid working environment may be available. Ask about our Flex workplace option.
