We are looking for an Intern Business Analyst to join our CloudLinux Network (CLN) team.
CLN is a core platform that powers billing, licensing, and customer management across our products and brands (CloudLinux and TuxCare brands, including CloudLinux OS, Imunify, KernelCare, Extended Lifecycle Support, and Enterprise Support products). It serves thousands of global customers and directly impacts revenue, customer trust, and user experience.
As an Intern BA, you will work closely with the Product Owner to support the delivery of new product features, improve internal workflows, analyze requirements, and ensure the smooth operation of key business processes. You will contribute to billing logic, licensing flows, permissions, API improvements, and UX consistency across the platform.
This role is ideal for someone with 1+ years of experience who wants rapid growth in a complex product environment.
As an Intern Business Analyst, you will:
- Write and maintain product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and use-case scenarios.
- Support feature development for billing, subscriptions, licensing, permissions, and customer workflows.
- Participate in planning sessions, standups, grooming meetings, retrospectives, and design reviews as a full member of the CLN team.
- Assist in resolving customer-impacting issues.
- Collect user and stakeholder feedback to refine product usability and discoverability.
- Work with data teams to analyze billing-related tickets, refund patterns, subscription events, and customer behaviors.
- Preparing structured summaries and insights from raw data.
- Performing manual data review or manual data entry when needed (e.g., testing edge cases, validating billing scenarios, helping diagnose customer issues).
- Supporting internal cleanup and data-quality initiatives.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- 1+ year of experience as an Intern Business Analyst, or in a similar product role.
- Ability to create clear, structured requirements.
- Basic understanding of REST APIs (Swagger, request/response flow, error codes).
- Basic knowledge of Postman.
- Knowledge of SQL or experience with BI tools (Looker, Redash, Snowflake).
- Technical background or understanding of JSON, logs, and API debugging.
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
- English - Advanced.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with billing systems or financial workflows.
- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Notion, Slite, or similar tools.
Personal skills:
- Fast-learning and proactive.
- Strong ownership and self-organization.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, distributed team.
- Able to analyze tasks independently and propose logical solutions.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Internship details:
- 6 months internship with the opportunity to transition to a full-time contract in case of successful completion of the internship
