Requirements
  • Oversee the monthly and annual close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
  • Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules across significant accounts (including revenue, balance sheet accounts, accruals, cash and clearing accounts)
  • Prepare and deliver complete, accurate monthly financial statements (Balance Sheet and P&L), including review of underlying support
  • Lead the annual audit process and serve as primary liaison with external auditors
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and consistent application of accounting policies
  • Oversee and ensure completion of balance sheet reconciliations, including bank, credit card, and key sub-ledger accounts
  • Review and oversee preparation of ancillary schedules (e.g., prepaids, inventory-related accounts, reserves, etc)
  • Partner cross-functionally (FP&A, Operations, Sales/Marketing) to ensure accurate accounting treatment of business activities
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration, or equivalent business experience
  • 2–4+ years of accounting experience in a CPG company; omnichannel (DTC + Amazon + retail/wholesale) experience strongly preferred
  • Hands-on NetSuite experience required — saved searches, item receipts, general ledger.
  • Must be a self-starter, flexible to work in a collaborative structure and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables
  • Exposure or experience using AI Models (Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini)
  • Must be willing to fall in love with our products, meditate with our team and have fun while we work!
Compensation

The anticipated salary range for this position is $100,000 - 115,000 per year. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a few factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range.
