What Is The Opportunity?
The Nisos Intelligence Team, also known as the Pandion Team, are core contributors to Nisos’ Intelligence Services offerings. There are currently four Pandion roles: Intelligence Principals, Intelligence Consultants, Intelligence Senior Analysts, and Intelligence Analysts. Nisos’ cadre of Intelligence Analysts are experienced in providing actionable analysis for a diverse set of challenging issues, ranging from geopolitical to cybersecurity.
Analysts are capable individuals who consistently identify solutions for clients, are team players who work towards a common goal, and are developing their investigative, technical and writing skills from basic to intermediate. They may specialize in a few service lines until their skillset is more mature. They will work as part of the team to deliver projects. Intelligence Analysts should possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and will be expected to expertly execute the following activities:
- An enthusiastic team player with a strong hands-on attitude; flexible and adaptable; a problem solver
- Demonstrated experience writing finished analytical products incorporating text and graphics to convey complex concepts to executives and other decision makers
- Builds partnerships and works collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives
- Actively learns through experimentation and from others when tackling new challenges, using both successes and failures
- Anticipates and adopts innovations in digital and technology applications
- Capable of extrapolating both high-level and granular-level insights from data to produce a concise, detailed analysis for clients
- An agile learner who is continuously improving knowledge of current OSINT investigative methodologies and toolsets
- Strong skills in the collection, management, manipulation, and analysis of structured and unstructured data
- Generate professional deliverables for clients across multiple industry verticals
- Brief clients on analytic findings (often complex) in an understandable manner and present decisive options for mitigation
- Research new OSINT techniques, tools, and datasets
- Help evaluate new tools and datasets for integration into Nisos workflows or technology
- Generate, publish and collaborate on research for blogs or white papers, as well as marketing materials
- Represent Nisos in webinars, conferences, or various briefings
- Participate in the sales process as a subject matter expert
- Provide actionable analysis for a diverse set of challenging issues, ranging from the geopolitical to cyber
- Experience in determining and assessing the online footprint of an assorted range of entities (individuals, companies, nation-states)
- Demonstrated understanding of basic network architecture and communication protocols
What You Bring
- Recent experience as an all-source intelligence analyst in the defense or intelligence community, or in an investigative analytical role in law enforcement or a private sector organization.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
