The Integration Engineer will integrate building systems into KODE OS, assess infrastructure, configure devices, troubleshoot issues, and ensure project delivery with effective communication.
We’re seeking an Integration Engineer to bring the world’s smartest buildings to life. You will be responsible for enabling the integration of building devices and systems into KODE OS, working closely with clients, vendors, and our internal teams. From assessing network infrastructure to configuring integrations and resolving technical blockers, you will play a critical role in ensuring seamless onboarding and project delivery.
- Collaborate with clients to determine the best connectivity methods for building systems
- Assess technologies and network infrastructure to prepare for integration
- Set up and configure integration devices (NUC, VM, JACE) and Niagara stations
- Perform Niagara discovery, configure schedules, logic, and folder structures
- Set up and manage VPN/Reverse Proxy connections with the Network Team
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical blockers (e.g., VLAN, IP assignments)
- Coordinate API enablement and configuration, including testing and UAT support
- Communicate technical concepts clearly to clients and vendors
- Own data discrepancy reports and vendor quotes, ensuring alignment with scope
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and vendors to deliver smooth integrations
- Document lessons learned to improve future deployments and best practices
Requirements
- Strong technical problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to break down complex systems into clear, simple terms
- Excellent communication skills with clients and internal teams
- Experience with network setups, VPNs, and reverse proxies
- Familiarity with Tridium Niagara, API integrations, and system configurations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects
