CompassX is a boutique business and technology consulting firm. We help Fortune 500 and high-growth clients deliver their most strategic initiatives, from enterprise transformations to digital and data-driven projects. With over 15 years of proven results, we’ve expanded across industries including financial services, pharmaceuticals, aerospace, consumer products, and quick service restaurants.

We are honored to be recognized as a three-time winner of Consulting Magazine’s Best Boutique Firms to Work For, and previously recognized as a “Best Place to Work” in Southern California and one of INC.’s 5000 fastest-growing private companies in the U.S.

We are looking for an Integration Lead to own the critical final mile of technical delivery. You aren't just a coder; you are the bridge between cutting-edge AI-generated applications and the complex, live enterprise systems that power our clients' businesses.
This role is about orchestration, stability, and high-stakes problem-solving as you take the output from our AI solution team and breathe operational life into it.

You will navigate the complexities of ERP and CRM integrations while building the CI/CD pipelines that ensure our solutions are not just innovative but production-ready.

If you thrive on managing technical risk and ensuring that "it just works" at scale, this is your opportunity to lead program-level delivery in a high-impact, boutique environment.

High preference will be given to candidates who are based in Georgia to occasionally co-locate with our team members there, with some travel to client site.

We are currently only set up to employ individuals who reside and work remotely from the following states: California, Washington, Texas, Oregon, Colorado, Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Georgia.

What You'll Do

  • Implement seamless integrations between Emergent-generated applications and ERP/enterprise systems.
  • Build, manage, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and continuous updates.
  • Own the technical delivery at the program level, bridging the gap between development outputs and live systems.
  • Validate workflows and data flows end-to-end to ensure peak reliability and performance.
  • Identify and proactively manage technical dependencies and risks across diverse system landscapes.
  • Troubleshoot complex integration issues and ensure operational stability post-deployment.
  • Collaborate closely with AI Solution Leads and Designers to translate design into functional reality.

What You'll Bring

  • Mid-to-senior level experience in technical delivery leadership or integration consulting.
  • Deep expertise in Integration/Middleware platforms like APIs, ETL, MuleSoft, Boomi, or Workato.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP/Enterprise Systems, with a strong preference for Oracle Fusion.
  • Proficiency in CI/CD and DevOps tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.
  • A program-level orchestration mindset, capable of anticipating risks before they become issues.
  • Proven ability to communicate technical constraints and integration risks to non-technical stakeholders.
  • A hands-on approach to troubleshooting and validating end-to-end functionality.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary with performance-based bonus
  • PTO, holidays, and sabbatical program
  • Health, dental, vision, and life insurance
  • Retirement plan with company match from day one
  • Learning and professional development support
  • Small-firm culture with direct access to leadership

This is an independent contractor position and able to work on a C2C or 1099 basis. We are unable to provide sponsorship for this position.

Our consultants say CompassX is a place where they can truly find their own path. As part of a smaller firm, they see the impact of their work, have an identity, and know their voice matters. They value the freedom to take the reins of their careers, shape their client work, and maintain a direct line to leadership.

With CompassX’s focus on serving local Southern California clients, consultants not only build lasting relationships but also see the results of their work in the communities where they live.

At CompassX, you won’t just follow a path - you’ll create one.
