About the Role

We're looking for a self-driven Senior Recruiter to join our team and play a key role in attracting top talent to our organization. As an Insurtech Recruiter, you'll be responsible for the full recruitment cycle.


You'll collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand their needs and develop effective recruitment strategies. 

Responsibilities

  • Partner with hiring managers to understand their hiring needs, team dynamics, and the specific requirements of open roles.

  • Create and execute effective strategies to source, attract, and recruit qualified candidates for a variety of Insurance roles including underwriting, business development, & marketing.

  • Utilize various sourcing channels (job boards, LinkedIn, social media, networking events, employee referrals) to identify potential candidates. Screen resumes and applications to assess qualifications and fit.

  • Manage candidate lifecycle in our ATS (Ashby) from coordinating the interview process, scheduling interviews, facilitating assessments, and gathering feedback from interviewers and candidates.

  • Develop and execute strategies to enhance CompScience’s employer brand and attract top talent in the competitive Insurtech landscape.

Required Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in high volume recruiting in-house

  • Must be a strong sourcer and full cycle recruiter with knowledge around equity for negotiator with candidates

  • Experience managing the entire recruitment lifecycle, from screening resumes to coordinating interviews and extending offers

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with candidates and hiring managers.

  • Enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment and contributing to the growth of the company.

Nice to have

  • Solid understanding of the insurance landscape, including key roles, industry trends, and challenges.

  • Worked in early stage start-up environment

Compensation: CompScience is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The annual salary range for this role is $120K - $150K. Compensation is determined within the range based on your qualifications and experience. Our total compensation package also includes equity and comprehensive benefits.
