Job Description

The Insurance Product Management Consultant provides support for Product Management leaders with achieving profit and growth targets for an insurance product.  This position is a highly data-driven and analytical role, suitable for candidates with strong programming skill as well as candidates with mathematical or engineering backgrounds and a desire to learn programming and data analysis. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain database infrastructure and libraries of stored queries to provide reports to Product leadership.

• Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform insurance price decisions.

• Create and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize data and communicate findings.

• Collaborate with team members to understand data needs and provide analytical support.

• Assist in the development and implementation of data collection systems and strategies.

• Perform ad-hoc data analysis and reporting as needed.

 

 

Technical Skills:

• SQL knowledge (strongly preferred).

• R or Python experience (preferred).

• Other programming language experience (preferred).

• Insurance Industry Experience (preferred).

• Familiarity with statistical analysis & data modeling techniques (preferred).

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent written & verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

 

Experience:

• 2 or more years of experience (Preferred).

 Supervisory Responsibilities:

• This job does not have supervisory duties.

 Education & Experience (in lieu):

• In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

 

Compensation:

Base compensation offered for this role is $62,800.00 - $99,190.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.

 

*** Total compensation for this role is comprised of several factors, including the base compensation outlined above, plus incentive pay (i.e., commission, bonus, etc.) as applicable for the role.
