In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing engaging and effective learning experiences for all enablement audiences at VAST Data (Sales, Technical Sales, Customer, and Partner). You will use your expertise in crafting live and on-demand learning experience, learning technologies, and adult learning principles to create innovative training programs that equip each audience to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and Develop Learning Experiences:

  • Create high-quality, interactive learning content for both live and on-demand delivery, including presentations, videos, eLearning modules, simulations, and job aids.
  • Apply instructional design principles and adult learning theory to ensure that content is engaging, effective, and aligned with learning objectives.
  • Design learning pathways and certifications that guide learners through a structured curriculum.

Collaborate with Stakeholders:

  • Partner with technical trainers to deliver highly technical content optimized for learning experience.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, product managers, sales teams, and marketing teams to ensure that training content is accurate, relevant, and aligned with business objectives.
  • Work with the Enablement team to maintain a consistent learning experience across all programs.

Evaluate and Improve Training Effectiveness:

  • Gather and analyze learner feedback, assessment data, and program metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to optimize learning outcomes.
  • Stay informed about best practices and emerging trends in learning experience design.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in training or learning experience design in a technology or SaaS environment.
  • Proven experience in designing and developing a variety of learning content, including eLearning modules, videos, instructor-led materials, and job aids (ideally including guides for hands-on lab experiences).
  • Proficiency in using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and eLearning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Rise).
  • Experience with graphic design and multimedia development tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design models.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
  • Experience in the data storage industry
