Definitive Healthcare is looking for a talented Instructional Designer to join our Talent Development Team! If you are looking for a fast-paced, fun team to join - this could be the perfect fit for you.
Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop interactive e-learning modules using tools such as Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, or similar platforms.
• Create instructor-led training (ILT) materials, including facilitator guides, participant workbooks, slide decks, and supporting resources.
• Conduct needs assessments and collaborate with SMEs to define learning objectives, outcomes, and assessment strategies.
• Apply instructional design models to create learner-centered experiences.
• Ensure learning content is accessible, inclusive, and aligned with adult learning principles .
• Integrate multimedia elements such as video, animation, and voiceover to enhance learner engagement.
• Work with LMS administrators to publish, test, and track e-learning modules.
• Continuously evaluate and improve learning programs through feedback, data analysis, and iteration.
• Stay current with learning trends, tools, and technologies, and proactively bring innovative ideas to the team.

Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of experience designing both e-learning and instructor-led training programs.
• Proficiency with e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Rise, Adobe Captivate).
• Strong understanding of instructional design models, adult learning theory, and learning evaluation methods.
• Experience with Learning Management Systems (e.g., Workday Learning, Cornerstone, Docebo).
• Excellent project management, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Attention to detail and a strong visual and instructional design aesthetic.
• Experience working in [industry-specific environment, e.g., healthcare, corporate, education, etc.] a plus.

Bonus Points For:

• Graphic design or video editing skills (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Camtasia).
• Experience with microlearning, gamification, or mobile learning solutions.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG, Section 508 compliance).
