Our Newest Opportunity:
The Digital Learning Designer will join OneDigital’s Learning & Development (L&D) team as an expert in digital content creation and modern learning experiences. This role focuses on producing visually engaging, interactive, and accessible learning assets using tools such as Articulate 360 (Rise/Storyline), Vyond, Canva, Camtasia, and HeyGen. The Digital Learning Designer transforms learning concepts into compelling multimedia content that aligns with business goals, adult learning principles, and OneDigital’s brand standards.The ideal candidate is a creative problem solver with strong visual design skills, a passion for digital learning technologies, and the ability to design high quality content using both traditional and Ai enhanced tools.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
Digital Content Design & Development
- Design and develop digital learning assets such as micro learning, interactive modules, animations, video, motion graphics, infographics, and multimedia rich content.
- Build engaging, intuitive eLearning modules in Articulate Rise and Storyline.
- Create templates, visual systems, and reusable design components to streamline content production.
- Produce and edit multimedia content (video, audio, graphics) that enhances the learner experience.
User Experience & Learning Experience Enhancement
- Apply UX and visual design principles to ensure intuitive layout, navigation, and flow.
- Enhance existing content for improved engagement, interactivity, structure, and clarity.
- Ensure all digital assets meet accessibility standards including WCAG and Section 508.
AI Supported Content Creation
- Use AI tools (text to video, generative imagery, script refinement, accessibility enhancement) to speed up production and elevate creative quality.
- Test and adopt emerging AI tools to keep OneDigital’s learning experiences modern and futureready.
Collaboration & Support
- Work closely with Learning Consultants, SMEs, and L&D partners to translate content into engaging digital experiences through thorough needs analysis.
- Participate in initial project intakes, design reviews, contribute creative ideas, and recommend improvements.
- Support LMS processes such as content uploads, testing, tagging, and publishing.
Continuous Improvement & Evaluation
- Incorporate learner feedback, analytics, and usability data to refine digital content.
- Maintain brand consistency, design standards, and documentation across digital learning projects.
- Stay current on design trends, digital learning tools, and AI innovations.
Qualifications, Skills, and Requirements:
Required Skills:
- Proficiency with eLearning authoring tools (Articulate Rise, Storyline, Articulate 360).
- Strong multimedia design skills using tools like Adobe Creative Cloud, Vyond, Camtasia, or similar.
- Experience producing digital learning assets including video, motion graphics, and visuals.
- Ability to apply UX/UI principles to digital learning layouts and interactions.
- Experience using AI tools to support content creation, editing, or workflow acceleration.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and collaboratively.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Canva or other lightweight design tools.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG/508).
- Experience with LMS/LXP workflows, publishing, and tagging.
- Experience designing responsive learning for multidevice delivery.
- Understanding of adult learning principles or instructional design methodology.
Education, Training, and Experience:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Learning Experience Design, Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience designing digital learning or multimedia content alongside a Learning & Development team (portfolio strongly preferred).
- Coursework, certifications, or training in visual design, animation, multimedia production, or UX/UI is a plus.
- Articulate Storyline / Rise Certifications (Articulate Certified Professional)
- ATD Master ELearning Instructional Designer
- ATD Instructional Design Certificate
The typical base pay range for this role nationwide is $60,000-$70,000.
Your base pay is dependent upon your skills, education, qualifications, professional experience, and location. In addition to base pay, some roles are eligible for variable compensation, commission, and/or annual bonus based on your individual performance and/or the company’s performance. We also offer eligible employees health, wellbeing, retirement, and other financial benefits, paid time off, overtime pay for non-exempt employees, and robust learning and development programs. You will receive reimbursement of job-related expenses per the company policy and may receive employee perks and discounts.
