This is a remote position.
Our client is looking for an Inside Sales Representative to join their growing team and help deliver an outstanding customer experience while driving business growth. They are a well-established company operating within the building technologies and industrial solutions sector, with a strong reputation for supporting customers through technical expertise, strategic partnerships, and consistent growth over the past several years.
This role is ideal for a customer-focused professional who enjoys building relationships, managing projects, and contributing directly to sales success. The Inside Sales Representative will work closely with customers, manufacturing partners, and internal teams to ensure projects move efficiently while identifying opportunities to strengthen customer relationships and expand business.
The position is fully remote and follows a schedule of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Central Time (U.S.).
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with an assigned portfolio of customer accounts.
- Proactively engage customers to support account growth and identify new sales opportunities.
- Provide pricing information and quotations as needed.
- Manage projects throughout the sales cycle, including order tracking and expediting.
- Coordinate communications between customers, manufacturers, and internal teams.
- Work closely with external sales representatives to ensure customers receive timely updates and support.
- Build and strengthen relationships with manufacturing partners to support sales growth.
- Learn and develop expertise in product offerings, industry applications, and customer projects.
- Deliver a high level of customer service and ensure a positive customer experience.
- Support business development efforts through proactive communication and follow-up.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service, inside sales, account management, or direct sales.
- Experience communicating with customers over the phone and managing client relationships.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to build trust and long-term relationships with customers and business partners.
- Availability to work during U.S. Central Time business hours.
- Experience supporting B2B customers.
- Proven ability to provide excellent customer service while contributing to sales growth.
- Strong problem-solving and project coordination skills.
- Professional and customer-focused approach.
- Experience working in technical, industrial, manufacturing, construction, electrical, or related industries is highly valued.
- Comfortable learning technical products and applications.
