The Receptionist, located in the RiNo district in Denver, CO, is the industry-leading, cloud-based Visitor Management Solution (VMS) that helps companies automate visitor check-ins and bring calm to the chaos of the modern front office.
We’re looking for a driven Inside Sales Representative (ISR) to join our team and own the entire sales process for our Small to Medium Business (SMB) customers. If you’re a proactive salesperson who thrives in a fast-paced, transactional sales environment and loves turning prospects into happy customers, this role is for you. You’ll work closely with our Business Development team to cover qualified leads while also self-sourcing opportunities to build a healthy, balanced pipeline.
What You’ll Be Doing- Own the full sales cycle end-to-end, from prospecting and qualification to demos, negotiations, and closing deals.
- Focus on transactional sales within the SMB sector, consistently driving revenue growth.
- Partner with the Business Development team to cover and advance qualified leads while also self-sourcing opportunities.
- Actively build and maintain a healthy pipeline through outbound prospecting, inbound leads, and BDR collaboration.
- Consistently exceed quarterly sales quotas and contribute to overall company growth.
- Use strong discovery methods to uncover business pain points, value drivers, and stakeholder influence.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date opportunity data in Salesforce and related tools to track and report progress.
- Stay up to date on The Receptionist’s products, services, policies, and processes to position our solutions effectively.
- 2+ years of proven B2B SaaS sales experience (closing or sales development). Previous ISR or AE experience is a plus.
- Experience with Salesforce (or similar CRM) and sales engagement tools.
- Coachable, curious, and motivated to learn and improve.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to deliver engaging presentations.
- A verifiable track record of success, with consistent quota attainment.
- Skilled in prospecting, developing proposals, and delivering persuasive presentations.
- Ability to spend time weekly in our Denver metro office.
- Authorization to work in the U.S.

Total compensation for this role includes a base salary of $56,000- $62,600 plus uncapped commissions. Salary is based on a combination of skills, experience, knowledge, and performance.
