Summary:

We're looking for a dynamic Inside Sales Representative to drive growth in our aftermarket services — including parts, audits, support contracts, rebuilds, and maintenance services. You'll play a key role in engaging existing customers, uncovering their unique needs, and expanding our footprint within their operations. Collaborating closely with regional sales teams and our trusted distributor network, your goal is to build meaningful relationships that translate into sustainable revenue and client trust.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop strong partnerships with regional sales teams to align and execute aftermarket sales strategies

  • Build trust and deliver value to existing customers and distributor networks through consistent, solution-oriented communication

  • Prospect and qualify leads by engaging with maintenance-level personnel and uncovering unique aftermarket needs

  • Achieve or exceed order intake and margin targets through effective selling and consultative guidance

  • Serve as a technical resource for customers and distributor sales teams, offering training and product insights

  • Monitor industry and competitor trends, pricing, and marketing strategies to keep Fortna Systems, Inc ahead of the curve

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (preferred but not required)

  • Experience in sales or customer service; B2B or industrial sales is a strong plus

  • Familiarity with material handling systems or industrial automation is an advantage

  • Exceptional communication skills—both verbal and written—with a consultative approach

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and follow-up skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

  • Experience with AutoCAD and ERP/CRM systems like Microsoft Navision, LN/Infor, or IQMS

  • Willingness to travel up to 15% to meet customers and attend team events

The base salary range for this role is $43,600 to $65,300.  This base salary range represents the low and high end of the base salary range for this position. Actual base salary offered will vary based on various factors including but not limited to location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and performance.
