- Proactively contact decision-makers within companies on a regular schedule to:
- Introduce and promote stock and custom items
- Suggest special delivery, stocking, or pricing option
- Offer additional services such as flex pay warehousing, special packaging, custom, and direct shipments
- Manage customer contacts within the CRM program
- Quote and negotiate both stock and custom items, including:
- Special pricing
- Delivery/payment terms
- Freight considerations
- Utilize appropriate promotional materials and sales techniques to enhance customer awareness of capabilities for stock and custom items
- High school diploma or equivalent; post-high school education preferred
- 3 years of experience in sales or customer service
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and agreements
- Strong writing and business correspondence skills
- Effective presentation and communication skills for interacting with customers and colleagues
- Basic math skills, including calculating discounts and gross margins
