Inside Sales Representative, Westlake Royal Stone Solutions

SUMMARY
This position promotes an environment which creates opportunities for Westlake Royal Stone Solutions to sell its products. Develop and maintain consultative relationships with customers and prospects in the following Stone defined segments; Distributors, Contractors, Masons, Multi-Family Builders and Architects. Sales Representatives must develop a thorough understanding of the needs of these segments and respond quickly to customer needs and questions. This position is responsible for researching, coordinating, and managing projects for area service managers, regional and national sales managers.
Remote work is an option.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
May include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Follow up with each lead that comes in via web and email for potential purchases
- Make outbound lead follow up calls to potential and existing customers by telephone and email to qualify leads for transfer to the outside sales representatives
- Responsible for handling inbound sales lead calls, qualifying them for potential transfer to outside sales representatives, or directly managing the sales process as appropriate.
- Utilization of Salesforce/CRM system for opportunity management
- Create new business with architects, builders, contractors, masons and build an instant rapport and achieve customer satisfaction.
- Utilize lead generation tools to mine for prospective opportunities in the commercial, national and multifamily space
- Provide technical and product support to current and potential customers
- AIA reporting via company portal and AIA website
- Establishes and maintains positive customer relations
- Comply with Westlake Safety Policies and Procedures
- Regular attendance, timeliness and scheduling flexibility
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong computer literacy: Microsoft Office required, SAP enterprise software desired, Salesforce/CRM system familiarity desired
- Must be an excellent negotiator and promoter
- Strong organizational skills required
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal
- Demonstrate technical aptitude
- Demonstrate math, estimating, and analytical aptitude
- Problem solving and decision-making capability
- Technical Skills – pursues training and development opportunities; strives to continuously build knowledge and skills; shares expertise with others
- Must be able to work independently and productively with minimum supervision
- Recognize problems, identify possible causes and resolve routine problems
- College Degree is preferred or equivalent work experience.
- At least one year of proven successful sales experience. An additional two years of customer service experience is preferred.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; stand; walk; use hands to touch, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
