We're seeking an Inside Sales Representative to transact on a high volume of incoming phone inquiries, online requests, and make regular outgoing calls to qualified leads to meet and exceed monthly sales goals. The emphasis is on sales, requiring a good phone personality, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and a positive attitude.
Your Impact:
Prepare to become a licensed agent through attending appropriate courses, self-study, participation in training activities, and job shadowing of inside sales representative to learn skills and accumulate experience
Provide general clerical and administrative support to staff including handling inbound and outbound phone calls, running reports, filing, researching and gathering information, and maintaining overall reputation of agency
Assist customers with general questions and administrative requests
Complete marketing and sales related activities which further the Sea Insure/ Sea Tow brand in the market (calls, boat shows, local dealerships, etc.)
Contact customers regarding account status and renewals
Build and maintain relationships with Sea Tow franchises and members
Develop and manage customer relationships and serve as a resource to customers and potential customers
Understand, promote, organize and remain current on company underwriting guidelines, announcements, and memos related to changes in policies and procedures
Maintain CE and participate in ongoing education and keep informed regarding industry information, new product information, legislation, coverages, and technology to continuously improve knowledge and performance
Successful Candidates Will Have:
1-2 years of insurance industry experience in client-facing roles. Knowledge of boats is a plus.
Active P&C insurance license or willing & able to obtain within 90 days of hire.
Strong presentation, persuasion, and negotiation skills with the ability to close sales.
Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service and develop and maintain customer relationships.
Experience with or strong willingness to develop key relationships and market our products within community organizations and the local business community.
Strong computer skills and working knowledge of MS Office applications.
Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
Strong attention to detail.

At One80 Intermediaries, base pay is one part of our total compensation package, which also includes a comprehensive suite of benefits, including , for eligible employees, medical, dental, vision, disability, life, and retirement savings. The total compensation for a position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. The expected base pay range for this position is between $15.48 - $23.00 per hour + bonus. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including geographical location, education, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
