COME ON BOARD THE SD GOVERNMENT CONTRACTS & PROGRAMS TEAM!

How will you make a difference?

  • Coordinate sales leads and orders from SD Government sales reps and enter information into CRM, prepare quotes and/or CSA for end users or Sales Reps, initiate dialog with end user, process orders, create CRM billing, activations, and handle logistics tasks
  • Liaise with all intercompany departments to facilitate the sales process as well as ensuring adherence to company procedures
  • Initiate sales process by contacting customers to confirm orders
  • Answer incoming phone calls relating to sales, internet, and data connections, for prepaid/monthly accounts and provide timely sales support
  • Create purchase requisitions to support customer requests/orders as needed
  • Work with AP on all internal Requisition Inquiries
  • Respond to policy-related questions from users and suppliers ensuring all corporate guidelines for purchasing and accounting are adhered to
  • Maintain and grow assigned and shared accounts
  • Sell solutions with emphasis on value added services (i.e., customer support, Global One, IP based services, Data Center Services, etc.)
  • Provide the highest level of delivery and quality assurance for total customer satisfaction
  • Generate sales pipeline and manage prospects through the entire sales process resulting in the achievement of assigned targets
  • Perform administrative sales support duties
  • Work to implement new policies when there is a need for adjustment within the Inside Sales Group while maintaining standard operating procedures
  • Assist in training new employees within the department

Qualifications

  • Highschool diploma or GED, some college coursework, or equivalent work experience
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in the satellite or satcom field
  • Flexibility to handle after-hours and weekend support needs
  • Must be able to travel from time to time (less than 15%)

Required Skills, Talents & Experience

  • Must be able to track and organize your sales process in a manner that can easily be followed by management
  • Ability to quickly learn SD Government Aero and Land Mobile suite of products and pricing
  • Highly developed sense of integrity and commitment to customer service satisfaction.
  • Good decision-making skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Solid computer skills with knowledge of MS Office; ability to learn all necessary company software systems
  • Proven multi-tasker with an ability to adapt to working in a fast paced, dynamic work environment, while maintaining a high degree of accuracy when processing orders, initiating customer accounts, and responding to inquiries throughout the day

Equal Pay Disclosure(s)

Base Pay:

48,800.00 - 61,000.00 USD Annual

Target Annual Short-Term Incentive:

Bonus Plan at 5% (% of Annualized Base Pay)
