The Infrastructure-Network Cloud Engineer is responsible for supporting iT1 Customers in our 24x7x365 Managed Services Division. Provides assistance with support, incident management, problem management and change management for cloud and network resources monitored by iT1 Managed Services. Will administer, monitor and provide maintenance to cloud and network systems. This role will be required to engage with a variety of Clients daily. This role will play a pivotal part in ensure Client success and the overall uptime and performance of critical infrastructure.

Requirements
  • Has a strong understanding of cloud computing technologies as well as various network systems technologies.
  • Maintains procedures for administration and proactive maintenance for client cloud and network systems.
  • Maintain and assist with incidents related to server, storage, backups, site recovery and networking of Azure-based systems.
  • Assist with cloud security needs as requested by the security team.
  • Diagnoses and resolves complex network related incidents.
  • Provides support for connectivity or related network/communication issues for managed services clients.
  • Monitor ticketing queue and respond to service requests or incidents.
  • Respond to escalated tickets from the Service Desk that require Infrastructure support and follow appropriate ticketing procedures.
  • Research, resolve, and respond to internal and client issues within scope of the NOC team’s responsibilities in a timely manner, to provide best in class support for iT1’s Managed Service Clients.
  • Act as an escalation point for level I and II engineers for client issues.
  • Execute delivery of client projects in the Networking and Cloud space as aligned to skillset.
  • Able to present solutions to clients, in face to face and virtual meetings.
  • Escalate issues to appropriate personnel as necessary.
  • Participate in customer calls with Client Success.

Job Qualification Requirements:

  • 3+ years of managed services experience.
  • 3+ years as an Azure Cloud Administrator.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of O365 security tools.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Azure operations and technologies.
  • 3+ years of Cisco network hardware configuration management (routers, switches, VPN/IPSec).
  • 3+ years of managing enterprise deployment and support for secure wireless.
  • 3+ years of TCP/IP mastery, inclusive of LAN and secure WAN design and implementation.
  • Ability to assess existing architectures and situations and make recommendations.
  • Strong ability to cultivate relationships with clients to develop and share understanding of technology solutions.
  • Presentation and articulation of technical content aligning to audience.

Preferred Certifications:

  • CCNA or CCNP
  • Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)

Job Location:

  • If local to the Phoenix, AZ area, this is an in-office position. The office is located in Tempe, AZ.
  • If located outside a reasonable commute, remote candidates will be considered.

Physical Demands
