The Opportunity:

As an Infracture Lead Engineer, you will manage a team and lead the implementation of our Common Software Development Environment (CSDE) infrastructure and CI/CD pipeline architecture. You will drive DevSecOps transformation by integrating security throughout the software development lifecycle and mentor and guide a team of infrastructure engineers while collaborating with development and security teams. You will enable rapid, secure software delivery through automation and infrastructure as code and support mission-critical systems while ensuring compliance with security requirements and CACI processes.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines with integrated security scanning (SonarQube, JFrog Xray)

• Configure and manage artifact repositories using JFrog Artifactory and implement secure artifact promotion strategies

• Set up and maintain continuous deployment using ArgoCD and Helm for Kubernetes environments

• Manage infrastructure across multiple deployment environments (sandbox, dev, test/int, production) using ProxMox clusters

• Provision and administer AWS cloud resources including VPC, IAM, security groups, and networking components

• Implement security controls and automate compliance checks throughout the infrastructure

• Configure and maintain integration between Jira, Confluence, and GitLab for project management and traceability

• Support Certification & Accreditation (C&A) activities and produce required security documentation • Manage user access and authentication across platforms for both CACI contributors and external users

• Implement and enforce infrastructure as code practices and version control for all configurations

• Configure bi-directional trust between CACI COREnet and the CSDE environment, and customer development environment

• Troubleshoot infrastructure and pipeline issues to minimize disruption to development teams

• Create and maintain documentation for infrastructure components and processes

• Establish metrics and monitoring for infrastructure performance and security

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives for infrastructure efficiency and security

Qualifications:

Required:

• Experience managing a team of engineers of similar size and scope

• 5+ years of experience with Linux administration and troubleshooting

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with AWS services (VPC, EC2, S3, IAM, Security Groups)

• 3+ years of experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines • Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles and practices

• Experience with container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes • Knowledge of networking concepts (subnets, routing, firewalls, VPNs)

• Experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.) • Familiarity with GitOps workflows and tools like ArgoCD

• Experience with security best practices and compliance requirements

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills

Desired:

• 3+ years of leadership experience managing technical teams

• Experience with GitLab CI/CD, JFrog Artifactory, and SonarQube

• Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence administration

• Experience configuring and maintaining Helm charts for Kubernetes deployments

• Familiarity with ProxMox virtualization environments • AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer)

• Security certifications (Security+, CISSP)

• Experience with CACI processes and procedures

Pay Range:

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$115,600 - 254,200 USD
