Who We Are

Endex builds AI agents that handle complex, end-to-end work for the world's most demanding teams. Today we're deployed across leading financial institutions and Fortune 500 companies, embedded in the tools and workflows they rely on. We operate at the frontier of agentic knowledge work, partnering closely with top AI research labs and backed by the OpenAI Startup Fund. We're on a mission to build the most capable digital coworker in the world.

About the Role

Location: New York City (Primary), Denver, Chicago, Singapore (APAC), London, San Francisco, Austin, Los Angeles
Commitment: 5 Days In-Person

We're looking for an engineer who can make the systems behind Endex reliable, observable and straightforward for the team to operate.

As an Infrastructure Engineer at Endex, you'll build and maintain the platform our product and agents run on. You'll work with product engineers to improve deployments, service reliability and the developer experience, making sure the infrastructure supports demanding customer workloads as usage grows.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Build the Production Platform: Maintain cloud infrastructure, deployment environments and shared services for product and agent workloads.

  • Make Reliability Observable: Establish service-level indicators, actionable alerts and runbooks that help engineers diagnose and recover from failures.

  • Improve Release Safety: Build repeatable CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code workflows with tested changes and predictable rollback paths.

  • Support Engineering Velocity: Build tools, environments and documentation that reduce friction in development and production operations.

  • Operate for Scale: Investigate incidents, plan capacity and improve performance and resource efficiency as usage grows.

What We're Looking For

  • Infrastructure Experience: You've built and operated production cloud systems and understand their practical trade-offs.

  • Software Fluency: You can write maintainable automation and tooling rather than relying on manual configuration.

  • Reliability Judgment: You can diagnose failures, prioritize meaningful risks and make systems easier to observe and recover.

  • Developer Mindset: You understand what engineers need from the platform and build clear, usable interfaces and workflows.

  • Production Ownership: You can automate infrastructure, diagnose a distributed-system failure and turn incident learning into a durable improvement.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with infrastructure as code, containers and cloud networking

  • Experience operating AI workloads, distributed job systems or enterprise SaaS

  • Experience with Terraform or comparable infrastructure as code, containers and cloud observability
