About the role

The Information/Data Architect will provide technical expertise and support for the data and information architecture requirements of the business. This will help maintain proper information categorizations and identify where information is used, stored, and transmitted.


What you'll do

  • Develop and maintain information and data architecture strategies that align with organizational goals.
  • Apply meta data models, taxonomies, and ontologies to strengthen business and IT capabilities.
  • Define data classifications and zoning standards to improve governance and asset management.
  • Document and categorize information across IT portfolios to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Support enterprise information initiatives including master data management, metadata, analytics, content management, and data integration.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Information Technology.
  • 8+ years of experience in data strategy, data architecture, information architecture, and data management. · Awareness/Understanding of AI principles and their application in data system architecture.
  • Strong process/systems analysis, design, and documentation skills.
  • Strong understanding of risk management and data management principles.
  • Ability to meet DOD Cyber workforce requirements at IAT Level I
  • DODAF/TOGAF Certification Preferred
