Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is looking for an Associate or Experienced Industrial Engineer (Level 2 or 3) to join our dynamic team at Kennedy Space Center, Florida.
In this role, you will play a crucial part in the development and production of the CST-100 Starliner spacecraft, which is designed to transport crew to the International Space Station and beyond. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the highest quality and efficiency in manufacturing processes.
Position Responsibilities:
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

- Analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Support root cause analysis and corrective action for manufacturing issues
- Work with operations management to remove roadblocks and prioritize work
- Utilize a systems-thinking approach to develop creative solutions for complex problems and drive consensus on technical decisions
- Employ a variety of communication styles to ensure stakeholder and customer satisfaction through project updates, including presentations to program leadership

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
- 2+ years of experience with Industrial Engineering or a similar role (i.e. Production Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, etc.)
- Experience with Industrial Engineering information systems and tools
- Experience leading improvement projects using continuous improvement methodologies
- Experience in the following areas: Adaptability, Analytical Skills, Business Acumen, Communication, Decision Making, Initiative, Leadership, and Teamwork
- Experience using Microsoft Office Tools, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principle
