Guild is hiring an Implementation Manager, Employer Partners to be part of Guild’s Marketplace Operations team, responsible for driving the successful execution of implementation projects for both new and existing employer partners (EPs). The implementations you lead of Guild’s Talent Advantage product suite, will be efficient and accurate and leave employers and internal clients with greater trust in Guild, a critical ingredient for continued partnership growth. Success in this role goes beyond delivering assigned projects; it involves proactively identifying gaps and proposing new approaches to tools, processes, and product enhancements that elevate the effectiveness of implementation work. This position demands exceptional and proactive project management, problem-solving, and stakeholder management and communication skills, as well as a passion for contributing to Guild’s growth and transformation.
Responsibilities- Lead implementation projects that accurately deliver the agreed-upon education or skilling offering to Guild’s new and existing employers and their employees. Successful implementations ensure employees can actively participate in the program and employers have the tools they need to effectively administer and manage their offering based on agreed-upon business requirements.
- Act as a primary point of contact for employer partners and internal stakeholders throughout the implementation process, collaborating with both technical and non-technical teams to generate buy-in, set expectations, and drive progress.
- Cultivate strong, trust-based relationships with internal stakeholders, such as Employer Partner Services, Solutions Consulting, Product, Student Experience, and Operations teams, by establishing shared goals, setting clear expectations, proactively aligning on responsibilities, and holding teams accountable to deliver high-quality results on time.
- Develop and maintain project plans from requirements gathering through full implementation utilizing standardized processes and templates where available and customizing to adapt to changing dependencies or business needs.
- Gather, document, and validate all business and technical requirements and take responsibility for ensuring requirements are being implemented accurately and on-time. These requirements may include working with external stakeholders and experts in HRIS, accounts payable, payroll, Identity, or other administrative departments at employers partners.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive testing and quality assurance plan to ensure accurate front-end user experience and system integrations with the EP.
- Collaborate and contribute towards increasing the efficiency of the team and the satisfaction of Guild’s customers through internal projects and initiatives.
- Proactively identify risks or gaps during the implementation process, developing actionable solutions to mitigate challenges and ensure project success.
- Facilitate high-quality, comprehensive retrospective sessions to identify lessons learned and drive improvements that benefit Guild beyond the immediate project.
- Simplify and improve workflows and tools to strengthen EPIM’s capabilities and support Guild’s growth and transformation goals.
- Help cultivate a high-performing, positive, and growth-oriented culture that is equitable and inclusive.
- Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in implementation, project management, program management, customer onboarding, or client delivery roles, preferably in a SaaS, technology, HR/benefits, or consulting environment.
- Proven experience leading complex, cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders, delivering results on time and within scope.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and influence both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience gathering, documenting, and validating business and technical requirements, and translating them into actionable project plans.
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with a proactive approach to identifying risks and solving problems.
- Experience facilitating meetings, driving alignment, and managing project timelines using structured methodologies or tools.
- Comfort working with systems integrations or technical concepts such as HRIS, payroll, APIs, SSO, or enterprise platforms (direct experience not always required, but strong technical curiosity is important).
Preferred Qualifications- Experience working with employer benefits, workforce education, HR technology, or enterprise SaaS implementations.
- Background collaborating with HR, payroll, finance, or IT stakeholders within large organizations.
- Familiarity with project management frameworks (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches).
- Experience developing or improving operational processes, tools, or workflows.
- PMP, CAPM, or other project management certifications (nice to have, not required).
- Experience in a high-growth or scaling organization.
We are committed to equal pay for equal work and believe in compensation transparency. All salary ranges are standardized nationwide and will not vary by region. This role offers a competitive total compensation package, including a base salary of $100,000 - $120,000 and stock options. Compensation offered will be based on a combination of factors such as experience, competencies, and internal equity.
