Manage technical setup for new customers, configure data pipelines, troubleshoot issues, serve as technical advisor, and document processes.
The Role
We’re looking for an Implementation Engineer to join our team and serve as the technical backbone of our customer success efforts. This role bridges the gap between our customers and our product, helping schools and universities integrate their data systems with Doowii to ensure smooth onboarding and ongoing data workflows.
You’ll be hands-on with SQL and Python to set up, troubleshoot, and maintain integrations, while also building strong relationships with our customers. If you enjoy solving problems, working with data, and helping people get the most out of technology, this role is for you. We’re open to adjusting the role level based on your experience and expertise.
Responsibilities (You Will)
- Own and manage the technical setup and integration process for new customers
- Configure data pipelines, write SQL queries, and leverage Python scripts for automation and transformation
- Troubleshoot integration issues and collaborate with product/engineering to resolve them
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor to customers, helping them get the most value out of Doowii
- Document processes and create customer-facing resources to streamline onboarding and support
- Partner with the Customer Success and Product teams to ensure customer needs inform roadmap priorities
Requirements (You Have)
- Strong proficiency in SQL (joins, aggregations, transformations)
- Working knowledge of Python, especially for scripting and data processing
- Experience with APIs, ETL tools, or data integration platforms
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Able to translate technical details into clear guidance for non-technical users.
- Comfort working directly with customers in a fast-paced startup environment
Bonus points if you have:
- EdTech or SaaS analytics background
- Knowledge of LLM evaluation, vector stores, or semantic layers
The base pay range for this role is $100,000 – $120,000 per year.
