Under the direction of a Senior Consultant or Manager, the Consultant II will develop and implement solutions for clients that are either consultative or technical in nature that provide improvements to the client's business processes and information technology. They will be self- managed for short periods and interface regularly with clients and others outside of Wipfli.
Responsibilities:

  • Effectively communicate and interact with both functional and technical personnel in solving complex business and technical problems
  • Translate business challenges into technical solutions
  • Ability to complete tasks within critical timelines and work well in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
  • Implement Wipfli developed software products ("apps") for new customers centered around financial data management
  • Support existing customers using developed software products that involve web services, API's, content-entry tools, and other utilities, applications, and services
  • Oversee smaller segments of work assigned by project managers or other senior team members.
  • Thoroughly documents work with clear explanations to illustrate understanding of concepts.
  • Informs project team leaders of cost, quality and schedule risks related to the scope of their portion of the engagements.
  • Monitors own time on projects and communicates availability in advance .


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degreee or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 2+ years of professional experience within Information Technology, Business, or Consulting field
  • Relevant experience with relational databases, software development lifecycle, and/or business analysis
  • Experience implementing technology or automation
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfort working directly with customers
  • Critical thinking skills and a self-starter approach to challenges
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
  • Prior technology implementation experience
  • Data integration experience required
  • Relevant experience with ERP Systems, relational databases, software development lifecycle, and/or business analysis

Wipfli values fair, transparent, and competitive compensation, considering each candidate's unique skills and experiences. The estimated base pay range for this role is $60,000 to $99,000, with offers typically not made at the maximum, allowing for future salary increases. The actual salary at the time of offer depends on business related factors like location, skills, experience, training/education, licensure, certifications, business needs, current associate pay, and relevant employment laws.
Individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, subject to participation rules and based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual and Firm performance.
