The Implementation Advisor will support the new business and renewal process for the clients of Digital Insurance Consultants. This position is an amazing opportunity for someone who is quick to learn, enthusiastic, ethical and has an extremely high level of detail and organization. He/she will represent Digital Insurance in a spirited and professional manner, both internally and with external clients. No two days are alike, and this individual is navigating his/her way through it all with confidence, integrity and a problem-solving approach. Finally, flexibility and multi-tasking are key attributes given the ever-evolving nature of who we are.
The Implementation Advisor supports the flow of group business the flow of group business, from receipt of the sold case proposal through finalization by the carrier(s). The primary market segmentation is Small to Mid-market group along with individual.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
- Gather applications from carrier(s) to send clients, instruct employers how to complete required paperwork, scrub forms then send to carrier(s) for implementation exercising professional communication skills;
- Communicating final approval from the carrier to the client by providing the carrier welcome letter, final rates, plan design
- Database management and proper documentation including but not limited to: entering Account Level information into CRM, saving documents in appropriate account folders; provide descriptions of calls in CRM and track all email correspondence
- Balancing and prioritizing daily tasks, such as managing appointments, phone calls, and e-mail correspondence with both internal and external clients using appropriate tone, craft and delivery;
- Building and maintaining rapport with carrier contacts by insuring clean case submissions and replying to requests both accurately and expediently
- Manage regional workload and work with other market advisors to assess workload/backlog and create weekly plan to ensure timeliness of client policy implementation across all regions;
- Assemble, maintain and share information regarding market specifics for assigned regions;
- Train market specialists as to the underwriting process, carrier requirements and deadlines;
- Adhere to confidentiality and HIPAA guidelines;
- Various duties as assigned by management
Qualifications, Skills and Requirements:
- Minimum 3+ years’ experience at carrier, general agency or brokerage in similar benefits role;
- Thorough knowledge of employee benefits, including implementation of policies, underwriting requirements, legislation, and emerging trends;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel and Word and database applications;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail;
- Must be self-motivated and disciplined with the ability to thrive in fast-paced environment;
Education, Training and Experience:
- Current life and health insurance license required.
The typical base pay range for this role nationwide is $20 to $23 per hour.
Your base pay is dependent upon your skills, education, qualifications, professional experience, and location. In addition to base pay, some roles are eligible for variable compensation, commission, and/or annual bonus based on your individual performance and/or the company’s performance. We also offer eligible employees health, wellbeing, retirement, and other financial benefits, paid time off, overtime pay for non-exempt employees, and robust learning and development programs. You will receive reimbursement of job-related expenses per the company policy and may receive employee perks and discounts.
