Top Texas Law Firm is currently seeking a career-driven Human Resources Manager to join the team in our Houston location!

 

The Human Resources Manager plays a pivotal role in shaping the workplace culture and ensuring compliance with employment

laws and regulations. The position is responsible for developing and implementing HR policies that promote a fair and equitable

work environment. The HR Manager will oversee employee relations, benefits administration, and affirmative action initiatives 

to foster a diverse and inclusive workforce. Additionally, this role involves managing HR operations and ensuring that disciplinary 

procedures are handled in accordance with company policies. Ultimately, the HR Manager will contribute to the overall success

of the organization by aligning HR strategies with business objectives and enhancing employee engagement.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that comply with labor laws and promote a positive workplace culture. 
  • Manage employee relations by addressing grievances, conducting investigations, and facilitating conflict resolution. 
  • Oversee benefits administration, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee benefits. 
  • Ensure compliance with affirmative action and equal employment opportunity regulations. 
  • Conduct training sessions on HR policies, employee rights, and workplace conduct. 

Competencies:

  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with internal and external clients. 
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage and resolve conflicts. 
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.  


Competencies:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. 
  • At least 5 years of experience in human resources management or a related role. 
  • In-depth knowledge of employment law and HR best practices. 
  • Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus. 
  • Experience with HRIS systems and data analytics. 
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
