We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Human Resources Assistant to provide administrative and operational support to the Human Resources department. The ideal candidate will assist with employee records, onboarding, recruitment coordination, HR documentation, scheduling, and general employee support while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Human Resources department.
  • Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Prepare and maintain employee records, forms, and HR documentation.
  • Assist with scheduling interviews, meetings, orientations, and training sessions.
  • Support recruitment activities, including reviewing applications and coordinating candidate communications.
  • Respond to routine employee questions and direct more complex matters to the appropriate HR representative.
  • Maintain accurate employee information in HR databases and systems.
  • Assist with timekeeping, attendance, benefits, and payroll-related administrative tasks as assigned.
  • Prepare HR reports, spreadsheets, correspondence, and other documents.
  • Maintain organized and confidential personnel files.
  • Assist with company policies, procedures, and employee communications.
  • Coordinate background checks, employment paperwork, and other pre-employment requirements as authorized.
  • Track onboarding requirements and follow up on outstanding documentation.
  • Assist with employee engagement activities and HR projects.
  • Ensure HR records and processes are handled in accordance with company policies and applicable requirements.
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned by HR management.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus.
  • Previous administrative, HR, recruiting, or office experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, spreadsheets, email, and HR software.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information responsibly.
  • Professional, dependable, and approachable manner.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

  • Familiarity with HR policies and procedures.
