Role OverviewWe are seeking an HTML/CSS Technical Quality Assurance Lead to uphold high standards in our front-end–focused AI data training projects. This role combines modern web technologies with quality assurance responsibilities, ensuring the production of accurate, high-quality HTML/CSS content and training data. You will help guarantee the consistency, clarity, and performance of front-end examples while supporting and guiding a global contributor community.
Key ResponsibilitiesCode quality review: Review HTML/CSS tasks and submissions for correctness, semantic markup, responsiveness, readability, and alignment with project guidelines. Provide clear, constructive feedback and escalate critical issues when needed.
Front-end evaluation: Assess layout structure, CSS organization, component structure, accessibility fundamentals, and performance considerations to ensure realistic, high-quality examples.
Communication: Share updates, clarifications, and project changes with trainers and QAs via Discord and respond to questions in a professional and timely manner.
Activation management: Monitor trainer/QA activity, reach out to inactive contributors, identify blockers, and encourage re-engagement.
Documentation: Create and maintain documentation such as HTML/CSS style guides, component examples, review checklists, trackers, FAQs, honeypots, and related materials.
Onboarding & training: Schedule and run onboarding and training sessions for new trainers/QAs, covering front-end quality standards, common issues, and review expectations.
Leadership mindset: Work independently, give feedback confidently, and help keep the trainer/QA community engaged and supported.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.
5+ years of professional front-end experience with HTML/CSS, building and maintaining real-world user interfaces or web pages.
Experience with JavaScript as well as front-end frameworks/libraries such as React, Vue, or Angular.
Strong understanding of semantic HTML, responsive design, CSS structuring, accessibility fundamentals, and performance considerations.
C1-level English proficiency for documentation and async communication in a global environment.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to review complex code and tasks systematically.
High attention to detail and the ability to deliver high-quality work independently.

Hourly rates are personalized based on your experience level, educational background, location, and industry expertise. You’ll see your specific rate in your contract offer before signing. Rates for technical roles can vary significantly based on these factors and can be re-evaluated for different projects based on your performance and experience.
