This role is located 100% onsite in El Paso, Texas.
The HRIS Analyst I will be responsible for administering, developing, and researching the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) to ensure that it meets our organization's needs. The HRIS Analyst I will play a critical role in optimizing HR processes, enhancing data integrity, and providing actionable insights from HR metrics. This role will collaborate closely with HR professionals and management to identify system requirements, design solutions, and provide user support. This position requires a strong understanding of HR operations and information systems, as well as the ability to analyze complex data sets. In addition, this role is expected to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and drive data analyst driven decision-making within the HR and Operations departments.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Analyze and interpret HR data to inform strategic decision-making, improve HR processes, and enhance employee engagement
- Develop reports and dashboards to track HR metrics and provide insights for strategic decision-making.
- Research and recommend system enhancements to improve HR processes and user experience.
- Assist in data management, ensuring data integrity and compliance with HR policies and regulations.
- Collaborate with HR, Payroll and Operations team members to gather system requirements and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide training and support to HR and Operations staff and other end-users on HRIS functionalities and processes.
- Stay updated on HRIS trends and best practices to continually enhance system performance and capabilities.
- Project Involvement and System Implementation: Participate in HRIS-related projects including testing phases to support process improvements
- Develop and maintain process documentation, user guides, and training materials to support HRIS users
- Analyze workforce data, including headcount, attrition, and any trends that provide insight to HR leadership or business partners
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least two years in the Human Resources or related field
- At least two years in an HRIS role
- Excellent communication (spoken, written, and presentation) skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Working knowledge of HRIS Systems Software required
