Position Summary:

The HR Operations Generalist serves as the operational foundation of EverDriven’s HR function and the front line of the employee experience. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role responsible for ensuring day-to-day HR operations run with precision and care — spanning benefits administration, employee onboarding and lifecycle management, HRIS administration, compliance support, office operations, and employee engagement.

This role requires a service-first professional with a positive, can-do attitude — someone who approaches every interaction with the belief that no task is too small and every employee deserves a responsive, supportive experience. The ideal candidate brings strong organizational discipline, thrives in a high-volume transactional environment, and maintains composure and accuracy under pressure. Additionally, this role actively supports employee engagement initiatives including wellness programming, volunteer coordination, and culture-building activities.

This role requires a high degree of discretion and confidentiality — you will regularly handle sensitive employee, compensation, and payroll data. You will report directly to the Director of HR Operations and partner closely with the broader People & Culture team.

Salary Range: $70,000 - $90,000/year, based on experience + bonus potential
Location - Greenwood Village, CO. 4 days in the office and 1 day remote.

How You Will Make an Impact:

  • Own the HR ticket queue (JIRA), ensuring employee requests are acknowledged and resolved promptly
  • Coordinate and support employee engagement activities including wellness programming, volunteer efforts, team events, milestone celebrations, and internal communications

  • Manage Worker’s Compensation reporting and benefits compliance administration
  • Administer leave requests (FMLA, Colorado FAMLI, PTO, medical, personal) and maintain accurate records in accordance with federal and state requirements
  • Escalate complex benefits or compliance questions to HR leadership as appropriate

Onboarding & Employee Lifecycle

  • Own the end-to-end employee lifecycle from offer acceptance through offboarding, ensuring a seamless and professional experience at every stage
  • Initiate and manage pre-hire onboarding in ADP, coordinate background checks, and manage all I-9 documentation
  • Create new hire files, coordinate IT and facilities setup, manage gear ordering, Navan configuration, and all Day 1 logistics
  • Coordinate offboarding logistics including equipment collection, system access revocation, COBRA notices, and final paycheck coordination
  • Manage independent contractor onboarding as needed

HRIS & Data Integrity

  • Process employee changes, updates, and document filing in ADP Workforce Now with a high standard for data accuracy
  • Run routine and ad hoc reports from ADP to support HR, Finance, and leadership decision-making
  • Audit system data integrity regularly and maintain organized, compliant HR documentation

Office Operations

  • Ensure the office environment is well-maintained, professional, and welcoming — including supply management, catering coordination, and facilities oversight
  • Manage conference room scheduling, badge access, desk assignments, name badges, and gym liability waivers
  • Coordinate with building management and vendors on office needs

What Does Success Look Like:

  • Employee inquiries are acknowledged within 24 hours, and employees consistently feel well-supported and heard
  • Engagement activities are planned and executed with care — employees feel connected to the culture and to each other
  • Onboarding runs like clockwork — new hires arrive on Day 1 fully set up, informed, and welcomed
  • ADP data is clean, accurate, and trusted by HR, Finance, and leadership
  • The office operates smoothly and reflects a professional, organized environment
  • Employee sentiment insights are shared proactively with context and practical judgment
  • AI tools are actively explored and adopted to improve efficiency and reduce manual workload

What You Will Bring to EverDriven:

Required

  • Hands-on benefits administration experience (enrollments, open enrollment, qualifying life events)
  • I-9 compliance and onboarding process ownership
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage a high volume of concurrent priorities with accuracy and composure

  • Service-first mindset with a positive, can-do attitude — no task is too small, and every interaction matters
  • Openness and enthusiasm for leveraging AI and technology to improve HR operations and the employee experience
