As a hands-on team leader and strategic Human Resources business partner for the Marketing Division, the HR Director will drive, implement, operationalize, and follow-through on all HR activities and relevant people initiatives across the Marketing Business Unit. Focusing on fostering an organizational culture of high performance, wellbeing, and belonging, they will play a crucial role in understanding business needs and developing change and talent management strategies to achieve outcomes that meet TNC’s organizational goals in support of its mission. Reporting to the Senior Director of HR and collaborating with colleagues across The People Team, the HR Director ensures a consistent approach in applying HR policies and practices across the assigned Business Unit(s) they support.
The HR Director will adapt and integrate global people strategies and may lead a team of HR professionals to deliver comprehensive and robust HR services designed to create a fair and inclusive work environment.

In this role you can expect to:
- Serve as a change agent, strategic HR business partner and resource to senior leadership and managers for all people and culture initiatives.
- Bridge the understanding of business needs and develop talent management strategies that support and advance organizational goals.
- Lead, manage and develop a team of HR professionals delivering comprehensive HR services and support across the full range of the employee life cycle from the tactical to strategic.
- In close partnership with the Senior HR Director, ensure talent planning, succession planning, professional development, organizational design, and organizational development efforts are aligned with business needs and consistent with TNC’s overall strategic direction and approach.
- Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition Team and assigned recruiters to identify upcoming staffing needs; and build talent strategies.
- Engage with Business Unit leaders and line managers to address complex employee relations issues and ensure compliance with TNC policies and relevant employment laws.
- Partner and collaborate with the Senior HR Director, BU leadership and teams across the assigned group to foster a positive organizational culture, employee wellbeing and drive change management initiatives.
- Ensure people strategies align with TNC’s efforts to promote TNC Values and a culture of belonging.
- Create mechanisms for feedback loops to build trust, have transparent communication and drive continuous improvement.
Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8 years related experience as a leader in Human Resources; experience supporting marketing, brand, creative agencies/leaders/teams a plus.
Professional experience must encompass a generalist role to include some or all of the following: employment, compensation, benefits, payroll, employee relations, training and development, organizational development and recruiting. SPHR, SHRM-SCP or equivalent professional certification or license as required by local labor law is a plus
Experience in conflict resolution techniques
Experience in strategic planning for a decentralized, geographically dispersed and multicultural international organization.
Experience working with international programs in the HR arena.
Supervisory experience and leadership skills.
Experienced trainer and facilitator; with presentation delivery experience to varied groups; large/small groups, general to C-Suite.
Experience with leading projects and coordinating the work of others.
Experience using MS Office software with experience in constructing and producing reports, data manipulation, and analysis.
Ability to travel up to 40%; both within the U.S. and Internationally.

The starting pay range for a candidate selected for this position is generally within the range of $132,000 – $165,000. This range only applies to candidates whose country of employment is the USA. Where a successful candidate’s actual pay will fall within this range will be based on a variety of factors, including, for example, the candidate's location, qualifications, specific skills, and experience. Please note countries outside the USA would have a different pay range in the local currency based on the local labor market, and not tied to USA pay or ranges. Your geographic location will be confirmed during the recruitment.
