Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, implement, and test interfaces for GEHC Perinatal Systems products.
- Manage the integration of hospital IT systems with GEHC Perinatal Systems products.
- Collaborate directly with external customers and IT vendors to develop system interfaces, including detailed specifications that define interface functionality and message formatting.
- Develop and improve interface tools, products, and implementation process and services offerings.
- Support multiple projects simultaneously, with project durations ranging from a few weeks to multiple months.
- Continuously strive to improve GEHC System Integration process by utilizing Heartbeat Systems and Lean Principles.
- Ability to work effectively from a home office.
- Limited travel required.
- AS Degree in Computer Science and/or General Business and/or 7 years of relevant experience in this domain
- Level 1 certified HL7 Cloverleaf and/or a minimum of 3 years HL7 experience
- Project Management Experience
- Basic Networking Experience
- Windows Server Environment Experience
- Proficiency with computer applications including Microsoft Office 365 Suite, including AI tools: Copilot, ChatGPT
- TCL, PowerShell, Python, XML or C programming experience
Desired Certifications and Skills:
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
· Cloverleaf Certified
· HL7 V2 Certified
· Experience/Familiarity with multiple Interface Engines: Cloverleaf, CorePoint, Iguana, InterSystems, NextGen, Oracle Health Integration, Rhapsody
· Familiarity with Cloud Native Integration Platforms
· Experience/Familiarity with Healthcare Integrations Standards: HL7 V2.x, CDA, FHIR, JSON, REST API, Web Services, XML, X12
· Linux Environment Experience
· AWS Environment Experience
