Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer with strong expertise in IBM Netezza and IBM DataStage, along with hands-on or working experience in Snowflake and Databricks. The role involves designing, building, and supporting scalable data pipelines across legacy and modern cloud data platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using IBM DataStage
Work extensively with IBM Netezza for data modeling, transformations, and performance tuning
Build and support data pipelines in Snowflake and Databricks
Develop complex SQL queries for large-scale data processing and validation
Support data ingestion, transformation, and reconciliation processes
Monitor and troubleshoot production data pipelines
Collaborate with BI, analytics, and cloud teams to support reporting and analytics use cases
Document data flows, transformations, and technical specifications
Required Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer / ETL Developer
Strong hands-on experience with IBM DataStage
Strong experience working with IBM Netezza
Advanced SQL skills
Preferred
Experience with Snowflake and/or Databricks
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
Knowledge of Python or Shell scripting
Experience in data migration or modernization projects
