We are looking for a highly organised, professional, and reliable HR Assistant to join our remote team and provide recruitment support to a US-based company specialising in radon remediation.

This is a fully remote outsourced position. The successful candidate will work independently from South Africa and will be responsible for sourcing, screening, vetting, and interviewing candidates for positions within the United States.

Working Hours
  • 40 hours per week
  • 8 hours per day
  • Working hours will fall between 2:00 PM and 3:00 AM South African time
  • The successful candidate must be able to consistently work within this time window
Key Responsibilities
  • Source qualified candidates for US-based positions using various recruitment platforms and channels
  • Review and screen CVs/applications
  • Conduct initial candidate screening and interviews
  • Vet candidates against the company's requirements
  • Communicate professionally with candidates throughout the recruitment process
  • Schedule interviews and coordinate candidate availability
  • Maintain accurate candidate records and recruitment documentation
  • Identify strong candidates and present suitable applicants to management
  • Follow established recruitment procedures and maintain confidentiality
  • Provide professional communication and administrative support to the HR/recruitment function


Requirements
Minimum Requirements
  • Previous experience in recruitment, HR, talent acquisition, or candidate sourcing
  • Experience recruiting or interviewing candidates for the US market is highly advantageous
  • Excellent spoken English with a clear, neutral, and easily understandable accent is essential
  • Excellent written English
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional telephone/video interview skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent organisational and time-management abilities
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Comfortable working with online recruitment platforms, video conferencing, email, and other digital tools
  • Professional and confident when communicating with US-based candidates
Technical & Work-from-Home Requirements

Because this is a fully remote position, applicants must have:

  • Reliable fibre internet connection
  • A suitable load-shedding backup solution to ensure uninterrupted work
  • A reliable computer/laptop capable of handling multiple online applications
  • A quiet, private, distraction-free workspace
  • A backup plan for internet or power interruptions

The successful candidate must be able to maintain a professional working environment and remain available during their scheduled hours.
