Position Type: Full-Time (W2 or 1099 Options Available)
We are seeking a driven, entrepreneurial, and service-minded Personal Lines Producer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving organic growth by developing, advising, and closing personal insurance solutions—including High-Net-Worth Homeowners, Auto, Umbrella, Flood, Watercraft, and Valuable Articles policies.
You will act as a trusted advisor to individuals, families, and professional networks, leveraging our robust carrier relationships and dedicated Account Management team so you can focus on what you do best: building client relationships and selling.
Key Responsibilities
- New Business Development: Actively prospect and build a pipeline of personal lines clients through personal networking, centers of influence (realtors, mortgage brokers, wealth managers), and community involvement.
- Client Needs Assessment & Risk Analysis: Evaluate clients' personal coverage needs and property exposures to design comprehensive, tailored insurance programs.
- Carrier Selection & Quoting: Work closely with our extensive carrier market access to secure competitive rates and broad coverage solutions for personal risk portfolios.
- Consultative Selling: Present customized policy proposals to high-net-worth and standard clients, clearly explaining policy options, limits, and coverage gaps.
- Collaborative Support: Partner with assigned, highly qualified Account Managers who manage routine policy servicing, endorsements, and billing support, allowing you to focus on strategic growth.
- Industry & Market Awareness: Stay informed on private client risk trends, Florida property insurance market dynamics, and carrier underwriting updates.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Experience: 3+ years of active, successful sales experience in Personal Lines insurance.
- Licensing: Active Florida Resident Property & Casualty License (2-20 or 4-40 converted/held).
- Track Record: Proven ability as a self-motivated "hunter" and networker with an entrepreneurial approach to growth (not a transactional order-taker).
- Product Knowledge: Strong familiarity with Florida personal property, auto, umbrella, flood, and high-net-worth risk markets.
- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and relationship-building skills with a customer-centric focus.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree or industry designations (e.g., CPRIA, AAI, CIC) preferred.
Benefits
- Flexible Earnings Models:
- W2 Option: Base salary customized to individual experience level + commission incentive structure.
- 1099 Option: Straight commission model offering 40% New / 40% Renewal.
- Equity Opportunity: Vested equity path in your book of business once it reaches $1 Million in revenue.
- 100% Company-Paid Core Benefits:
- 100% Company-Paid Medical Insurance

- 100% Company-Paid Life and AD&D Insurance
- Retirement & Growth Support:
- 401(k) retirement plan with employer contribution
- On-site Continuing Education (CE) classes and professional designation support
- Dedicated Account Manager support ratio to maximize producer sales focus
- Additional Benefits: Voluntary insurance options available via payroll deduction, a positive professional atmosphere, and long-term career stability in a growing agency.
