A new space race has begun. True Anomaly seeks those with the talent and ambition to build innovative technology that solves the next generation of engineering, manufacturing, and operational challenges for space security and sustainability.
OUR MISSION
The peaceful use of space is essential for continued prosperity on Earth—from communications and finance to navigation and logistics. True Anomaly builds innovative technology at the intersection of spacecraft, software, and AI to enhance the capabilities of the U.S., its allies, and commercial partners. We safeguard global security by ensuring space access and sustainability for all.
OUR VALUES
- Be the offset. We create asymmetric advantages with creativity and ingenuity
- What would it take? We challenge assumptions to deliver ambitious results
- It’s the people. Our team is our competitive advantage and we are better together
YOUR MISSION
At True Anomaly, simulation is the backbone that connects how we design, test, operate, and train. From spacecraft engineering to real-time situational awareness through our Mosaic ground software, simulation underpins every decision and accelerates every mission.
As Head of Simulation, you will architect and lead the development of an integrated simulation framework that unifies physics-based modeling, digital twin infrastructure, and data-driven validation from on-orbit performance. You’ll ensure our simulations don’t just predict behavior — they evolve with real-world data to continuously improve fidelity, confidence, and
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own the simulation architecture and roadmap spanning spacecraft design, testing, operations, and Mosaic-based mission training and visualization tools.
- Develop and mature a digital twin ecosystem that models spacecraft and mission behavior across all phases of the lifecycle — from concept to orbit.
- Integrate on-orbit data and test results to validate and continuously refine simulation models, starting with first principals to ensuring high-fidelity correlation between prediction and reality.
- Lead the development of scalable, physics-based models supporting our software development teams, mission architecture and subsystem design team by enabling multidisciplinary assessments in faster than real time.
- Drive seamless integration across engineering toolchains, test automation frameworks, and operational interfaces to enable simulation-driven design and decision-making.
- Collaborate with Mosaic product teams to deliver simulation-enabled situational awareness and operator training capabilities.
- Build and mentor a high-performing team of modeling, simulation, and software engineers who thrive at the intersection of analysis, systems thinking, and architecture.
- Define and implement standards, workflows, and tools that embed simulation into every phase of the product lifecycle.
