Own Decile Hub’s end-to-end product experience, roadmap, UX, specifications, customer discovery, and cross-functional execution. Partner closely with engineering, operations, legal operations, leadership, and customers to improve complex fund administration workflows. The role requires technical fluency with Rails applications, daily use of AI tools, strong written communication, excellent prioritization, and deep product design sensibility for complex SaaS products.

Decile Group is transforming venture capital into a force for good in the world. We have launched 1,000+ next-generation venture capital firms, changing the face of venture capital. We run VC Lab, the leading venture capital accelerator worldwide, and operate the Decile Hub platform, reducing the barriers of entry for next-generation investors to launch and grow meaningful early-stage investment firms.

Decile is the leader in the Agentic VC. Now we want to take it to the next level: making the movement of capital agentic, starting with LPs investing in GPs, not just the operations of a venture firm. We're looking for a Head of Product to lead that, and our entire product team, including engineering. You'll design entirely new user experiences that help LPs discover, evaluate, and commit capital to emerging fund managers, and help GPs raise and manage that capital, and you'll lead the team that builds them. You bring your own experience building agentic products, and you think from first principles: you rethink how capital should move instead of copying how venture has always worked.

The ideal candidate is obsessive about user experience and understands how software is actually built in the modern agentic era. You need to be a sharp thinker, a clear communicator, and someone who holds the bar high.

What You'll Do

  • Create new user experiences. Go beyond fund admin screens to new products for LPs and GPs: fund discovery, LP diligence, commitments and subscriptions, capital calls, and LP reporting.

  • Build from first principles. Question every workflow in venture, ask what it should look like when agents do the work, and design that, not a faster version of the old process.

  • Design the systems behind the operations. Fund admin, compliance, capital calls, distributions, and reporting need systems that are accurate, auditable, and reliable at scale. You'll design how agents, people, and data fit together so every dollar is tracked and every step can be checked.

  • Push the frontier. Give agents more autonomy where it's safe, and earn user trust with clear quality metrics.

  • Build for agents as users. Make Decile usable by other AI tools through APIs and connectors, not only by people clicking through screens.

  • Stay close to customers. Run user interviews, shadow onboarding calls, read support tickets, and close the loop after features ship.

  • Set the bar for specs, design, and UX. Crisp specs with edge cases handled, and clarity, simplicity, and delight in the dense, complex workflows of fund administration.

What You Bring

  • 6-10+ years in product, with a track record of shipping high-quality, complex SaaS products
  • Experience leading a combined product and engineering team, including hiring and managing engineers
  • Hands-on experience designing and shipping agentic experiences, where agents act for users, not just answer questions
  • Strong systems design thinking, especially in operations-heavy domains like fund administration, accounting, or payments, where accuracy and controls matter as much as speed
  • A first-principles thinker who can take an ambiguous, unsolved problem and turn it into a product people use
  • Experience building marketplaces, networks, or two-sided products
  • Exceptional written clarity and deep UX sensibility
  • Strong prioritization instincts and comfort creating structure in fast-moving, high-ambiguity environments

Nice to Have

  • Experience with fund administration, venture capital tooling, or compliance workflows
  • Background in operations, legal ops, or workflow automation
  • Background in venture capital, private markets, fintech, or capital markets
  • Experience analyzing user behavior and creating practical user segments (e.g., new users, advanced users, high-touch accounts) to inform onboarding, feature design, or support processes

Scam Warning
VC Lab and Decile Group never conduct hiring interviews via chat, and we will never ask candidates to send money, purchase equipment, or share financial information. Scammers may impersonate real employee names. If you are contacted about a role outside our official channels, do not engage.
