Full-time | Based in Palestine (West Bank or Gaza)

Israel murdered almost 300 journalists during this genocide. Seen Palestine is rebuilding the next generation of storytellers on the ground. We support 50+ creators in Gaza. We pay them. We train them. We help them tell their stories to the world.

We wanna produce one video every single day. 365 days a year. Between 1-3 minutes long. Stories that make you say, “I never thought about it that way.” Stories that challenge Western audiences to see Palestinian lived experience with empathy and clarity.

The strongest stories become long-form documentaries. We produced the films Bisan and Ahmad Alive. We tour the films in the Zionist capitals of the world. Washington DC. New York. London. And we are changing minds.

We are looking for a Head of Seen Palestine to lead this movement.

What You’ll Do

You are a Palestinian based in Gaza or the West Bank. You will own the content and strategy for Seen Palestine. Everything we produce must hit hard and resonate with global audiences, especially those in the West whose opinions, governments, and institutions shape fund this genocide.

You will lead 50+ creators in Gaza. You will guide their storytelling, help them find narratives, and ensure their work speaks to Western audiences. It’s must be social media native. You understand great hooks and how to keep people watching.

You will oversee the production of one video a day, 365 days a year. You will produce monthly documentaries. You will work with the team to aggregate the strongest narratives into 30-minute to one-hour films that we tour globally.

You will build a production network inside Palestine. Our goal is to push as much money as possible into the hands of Palestinian journalists. You will help establish local editing, design, and production capacity so we create more jobs and train more people!

Our medium-term goal is to train 2,000 Palestinian storytellers.

What You Should Be Good At

You have at least five years of experience in journalism, content creation, or digital storytelling.

You are a strong editorial mind, but you also get the internet. You know how to give clear, practical feedback that makes stories sharper and more powerful. You understand virality, framing, and distribution.

You have produced both high-quality short-form and long-form work, including documentaries.

You have a network in Palestine. Ideally editors, designers, producers, and creators on the ground.

Why This Role Matters

This entire model runs on donations and patronage. Every dollar raised goes toward amplifying Palestinian voices. Every video is an act of resistance.

If you are tired of watching the world look away, and you are ready to lead a storytelling movement that refuses to let Gaza be erased, we should talk.

How to Apply

Keep your application sharp and human.

Write three short sentences.

  1. First, tell us about your experience in journalism or digital storytelling. What have you produced that you are most proud of?
  2. Second, if you ran Seen Palestine, what types of stories would we go after this week, and why?
  3. Third, tell us about your network in Palestine. Who do you know and what production capacity can you help build locally?

We love AI and use it across the company. But please don’t send a generic, ChatGPT-sounding application. We can tell :-)

If you are ready to help rebuild a generation of storytellers and change the way the world sees Palestine, come lead our team.

We are Seen.
Are you?
