Head of MarketingLocation: San Francisco / North America Remote · Full-TimeAbout Andromeda

Andromeda is a market and infrastructure platform to buy, sell, and operate compute.
We believe demand for compute will grow exponentially. So fast that a handful of vertically integrated providers won't be able to scale across operations, capital, supply chains, and politics to serve it. The result is a massive wave of fragmentation, with AI factories of every shape and size coming to market to fill this demand. Our job is to enable all of that fragmented compute to flow through one platform, delivering reliable capacity to model builders, research labs, and inference providers when they need it. We believe every spare electron should be made productive for AI and we're building the platform that makes that possible.

We sit at the center of three forces:

  • Companies that need reliable, high-performance compute fast

  • A fragmented global supply of GPUs across hyperscalers, neoclouds, and independent data centers

  • Capital, risk, and operational complexity that most teams are not equipped to manage

When we succeed, trillions of dollars of compute will flow through Andromeda. Builders get capacity when they need it. Providers get a reliable way to monetize, operate, and finance infrastructure at scale. Capital gets an easy way to deploy, hedge, and underwrite.
In five years, Andromeda won't just participate in the AI infrastructure market. We will shape it.

The Role

We're looking for a founding marketing hire: part product marketer and part storyteller. This person will own our public narrative, translate our GPU compute offering for technical and executive buyers, and build the enablement, launches, and customer proof that help our sales team win. You'll partner closely with Wil, our CEO, on refining and publicizing our point of view on the compute market. There's no playbook or team to inherit: you'll set the direction.

What You’ll Do
  • Own the Andromeda story. Define how we describe what we do and why it matters, including the company narrative, who we sell to, and the core messaging that sales, customers, partners, and press all pull from.

  • Translate the product for different audiences. Work closely with Product, Eng, and Capacity to understand our clusters, capacity, and pricing well enough to explain them credibly to engineers, executives, and buyers who each care about different things.

  • Lead go to market for new offerings and announcements. Coordinate Product, Eng, Sales, and partners around one plan, including the narrative, sales materials, press, and what success looks like.

  • Equip sales to win. Build the decks, one pagers, and deal talking points reps need, run win/loss analysis, and keep a current view of competitors that improves how we sell.

  • Build customer proof. Develop case studies, reference customers, and use cases that show real outcomes, and work with partners on joint announcements and co-marketing.

  • Create the customer learning loop. Build direct relationships with customers and prospects, capture objections and gaps, track the compute market, and turn what you learn into product and positioning decisions.

What We’re Looking For
  • A marketing leader with depth in AI infrastructure. Deep experience in product marketing or GTM roles in AI infrastructure, cloud, or developer platforms, with real time spent close to the product and the people who build it.

  • Technical credibility. You understand GPU compute and AI infrastructure well enough to hold your own with engineers, influence product decisions, and earn the trust of technical buyers.

  • An exceptional writer and storyteller. You can take something complex and make it clear and persuasive for engineers, executives, investors, and press, and you hold a high bar for anything that goes out under the company's name.

  • Commercial judgment. You think like an owner of the business, understand how deals get won and lost, and have built the enablement, competitive, and customer proof programs that helped sales close.

Not A Fit
  • You want to lead through a large team and rely on others to carry execution.

  • You prefer to direct the work rather than do it. You will be writing the messaging, building the decks, and producing the content yourself.

  • You want to inherit something that already works. There is no existing playbook, toolset, or process here, and you will be building all of it from scratch.

Why You’ll Love It Here
  • True Ownership. You will be the founding member of our marketing team, with the opportunity to build the function from the ground up and shape its direction from the very start.

  • Competitive compensation and meaningful equity: Share in the value you help create.

  • Comprehensive benefits for you and your dependents, including healthcare, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k), and unlimited PTO
