Head of Marketing

OneAvant | Remote (EMEA)

About OneAvant

OneAvant is a Malta-based, AI-powered business management platform helping retail businesses, hotels, restaurants, and factories run smarter operations. We bring together inventory, staff, guest experience, production, and sales into one connected system, replacing scattered tools and spreadsheets with real-time visibility and automation that teams can actually trust. From automated purchase orders to AI-driven insights, OneAvant gives operators the full picture of their business, tailored to the industry they work in.

Our platform is built around four core products, each solving a different piece of the operations puzzle:

Hospitality Guest Management: automated check-in, keyless rooms, unified housekeeping, and concierge-level service requests that make every guest feel remembered

ERP – Manufacturing: production automation and full traceability, from raw material to finished product, with automated ordering and CRM built in

Business Intelligence: real-time data aggregated across platforms, with an AI query builder that lets anyone ask questions and get instant answers

Retail & Sales: live inventory tracking, automated purchasing and deliveries, and seamless e-commerce integration

Today,  OneAvant powers businesses across Europe and beyond, giving them the confidence to move faster and grow without operational blind spots. As we scale, we're looking for people who want to help more businesses trade the chaos of disconnected tools for one platform that just works.

About the Role

As our Head of Marketing, you'll be the bridge between Product, Sales, and Partnerships, translating what we build into why it wins in the market, reporting directly to the CEO. That includes growing our distribution network, finding new partners across our product lines and giving each one the positioning, pricing guidance, and materials they need to start selling with confidence You'll own GTM strategy end to end, shape our competitive positioning, and turn complex product capabilities into stories that make buyers lean in, across both direct sales and channel partnerships

We need someone who can move fluidly between pricing strategy, buyer psychology, and technical depth. A strategic, hands-on marketer who treats ambiguity as a starting point, not a blocker, and is just as comfortable in a pricing model as in a positioning workshop. You'll play a key role in taking ownership and articulating our category as we carve out new market territory, bringing fluency in pricing models to help shape how we package and monetize our product.

This is a high-ownership, individual-contributor role: no direct reports, no budget ownership, and no external agency to lean on. What you build, you build yourself.

This role can be held remotely from anywhere within EMEA, provided you can work within CET/CEST (GMT+1) business hours.

Key Responsibilities

Take full ownership of defining and continuously evolving our category positioning, crafting a sharp, differentiated story and proving why it matters as we push into new markets. Lead demand generation strategy end-to-end.

Define and update personas and buyer journeys, with a focus on mid-market and enterprise.

Advise on pricing and packaging strategy, ensuring messaging aligns with how each customer segment buys across our full product suite.

Craft compelling narratives that translate product capabilities into clear, story-driven value propositions for buyers and users alike.

Own product launches end-to-end: positioning, messaging, collateral, and internal enablement.

Partner with Product to ensure roadmap items are translated into customer-friendly narratives and value propositions.

Redefine our website as a growth channel, driving conversion rate optimization, messaging tests, and funnel improvements that directly support pipeline goals.

Own pipeline generation and health, working closely with CEO to ensure marketing-driven pipeline consistently converts into revenue, including shipping campaigns, pages, or content to hit pipeline targets.

Identify, onboard, and enable new distribution partners across our product lines, building the positioning, pricing guidance, and collateral each new distributor needs to ramp quickly.

Equip partners with co-marketing decks, playbooks, and enablement guides, working closely with the CEO to support partner-sourced revenue.

About You

  • 5+ years of B2B SaaS product marketing experience, including building marketing plans and executing go-to-market (GTM) strategies for web-based solutions.
  • Proven experience in e-commerce, ERP, hospitality, or Business Intelligence platforms (or related applications) is strongly preferred.
  • Experience shaping category positioning or narrative for a product entering a new or emerging market category.
  • Experience launching and positioning products in enterprise or mid-market environments, with a full-stack marketer mindset.
  • A strong track record building sales enablement content and supporting enterprise campaigns.
  • Excellent research and analytical skills, with the ability to pull insights from customers, competitors, and markets.
  • Strong collaboration skills, with experience working cross-functionally across product, engineering, and revenue teams.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English; additional European languages are a plus.
  • Frequent travel to client destinations across Malta and EMEA (including on-site visits to hotel clients) is a core part of this role, along with availability aligned to CET/CEST (GMT+1) working hours.

Compensation

This role offers a fixed annual salary of €40,000, but that's just the floor. We've built a generous incentive and bonus plan around revenue impact, with commission ranging from 5% to 25% on the revenue you bring in. There's no ceiling on what a strong marketer (revenue driver) can earn here. This role also offers the flexibility of working remotely from anywhere within EMEA.

How We Work

We operate as one unified team with a shared objective. Our goal is to build a cross-functional, self-managed team that works effectively from anywhere in the world, with strong representation across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. We foster open, collaborative communication and bring together global talent based on capability and strong communication.

OneAvant is an equal opportunity employer. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and are committed to building a diverse, inclusive team.
