About Prodia

Prodia is the fastest API platform in the world for AI image generation and editing — powering real-time personalization, asset creation, and transformation at scale. We specialize in making open-source models production-ready and high-quality editing tools like background and object removal.

About The Role

Are you an entrepreneurial marketer who wants the ownership and impact of a founder? As Prodia’s first growth/marketing leader, you will define and execute our go-to-market strategy from the ground up. This is a high-impact, hands-on leadership role for a growth-minded builder eager to scale a developer-centric product from 0 to 1. You will craft the vision for how thousands of developers discover and adopt Prodia, while also diving into the weeds to make that vision a reality. If you’re excited to drive user acquisition through creative developer-focused campaigns, content, SEO, community, and partnerships – all while shaping the product and brand – this role is for you. You’ll work directly with our CEO and founding team, with the autonomy to just ship things and the opportunity to have an outsized impact on Prodia’s success.

What you will do

  • Develop & Lead GTM Strategy: Define Prodia’s go-to-market plan and positioning. Identify our ideal developer audiences and craft messaging that speaks to their needs. Set growth targets and own the marketing roadmap to achieve them (from top-of-funnel awareness to conversion and retention).
  • User Acquisition & Growth: Own top-of-funnel growth – drive a steady pipeline of developers through organic and paid channels. Kickstart our SEO efforts (technical SEO on our docs/site, keyword strategy) and launch content marketing initiatives (technical blog posts, tutorials, use-case demos) to capture search traffic. Experiment with paid acquisition (search, social, developer forums) and optimize campaigns to minimize CAC while maximizing sign-ups.
  • Content & Community Marketing: Be the storyteller and educator for Prodia’s developer community. Create and publish high-value content such as guides, videos, and case studies that demonstrate what developers can build with our API. Engage with developer communities (Reddit, Hacker News, dev forums) to share knowledge (not just ads). Plan and host developer-centric events – for example, webinars, workshops, hackathons or conference talks – to build awareness and excitement. You’ll essentially act as an evangelist, showcasing Prodia’s capabilities and empowering developers through education.
  • Product Marketing & Launches: Work closely with our product and engineering teams on feature launches and announcements. Translate new technical capabilities into compelling value propositions and communicate them via launch blogs, release notes, and email updates to users. Ensure our landing pages and documentation clearly convey Prodia’s value. Partner with Developer Relations to cultivate an engaged community – for instance, by highlighting community projects, success stories, and running programs that encourage dev-to-dev evangelism.
  • Partnerships & Ecosystem: Identify strategic integration partners (tools, platforms, or communities popular with our dev audience) and drive co-marketing opportunities. For example, collaborate on content or events with frontend platforms, game engines, or other developer tools where Prodia’s AI could be embedded. Build our ecosystem presence so that Prodia is visible wherever developers build and create.
  • Analytics & Experimentation: Establish key growth metrics (website traffic, signups, activation rates, conversion, etc.) and a lightweight analytics dashboard. Run experiments across the funnel – A/B test landing pages, try new channels or messaging – and iterate quickly based on insights. Build a test-and-learn culture where we continuously refine our approach based on data and developer feedback.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: As a core founding-team member, collaborate with everyone. Work with engineering on product-led growth ideas (in-product prompts, onboarding flows), with design on website UX optimizations, and with the CEO on pricing or monetization strategies. You will be the voice of the user internally – gathering feedback from developers and informing the product roadmap. Over time, help recruit and mentor additional marketing or growth team members as we scale.

Who you are

  • Founder’s Mindset: You take ownership and initiative. Perhaps you’ve been the first marketing or growth hire at a startup before, or you’ve built a growth function from scratch. You thrive with autonomy, set ambitious goals, and execute relentlessly – all with a bias to action and experimental mindset.
  • Marketing Leader & Doer: ~5+ years of experience across growth marketing, product marketing, or developer marketing – with hands-on experience in a product-led SaaS or developer tool environment. You can shape strategy but also love getting your hands dirty executing campaigns, writing copy, analyzing metrics, etc. (In fact, you prefer a role that lets you do both!)
  • Developer Audience Empathy: You have a strong understanding of developers or technical users – how they discover new tech, what motivates them, and how to earn their trust. Ideally, you’ve marketed a developer-facing product or have been a developer yourself. Technical aptitude is important; you don’t need to code daily, but you should be comfortable digging into how our API works, reading docs, maybe hacking together simple demos, and speaking the language of our users.
  • Proven Growth Skills: Demonstrated success in driving user acquisition and growth. You’re skilled in SEO (you know how to get a docs/tutorial site ranking), content marketing (you can produce or guide creation of technical content that developers actually appreciate), and possibly community or viral growth tactics. Experience organizing events or developer programs is a plus. You can point to metrics you’ve moved – e.g. grew signups X% or built a content pipeline that drove N new leads/month.
  • Data-Driven & Experimentative: You measure what matters and base decisions on data. Familiarity with analytics tools and A/B testing is expected. You set up funnels, track conversion rates, and aren’t afraid to pivot strategy when the numbers tell a story. You combine analytical rigor with creative thinking to find new ways to drive growth.
  • Strong Communicator & Storyteller: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. You can craft a clear narrative about Prodia’s product that resonates with developers, and you have a concise, engaging writing style (our audience values clarity). Whether it’s a tweet, a blog post, or a conference presentation, you know how to tailor the message to the audience.
  • Collaborative Team Player: Though you operate entrepreneurially, you love working with a team. You can influence cross-functional teams and rally others around growth initiatives. You’re comfortable giving and receiving feedback, and you believe in the power of building in public and learning from our developer community.
  • Passionate about AI/DevTools: You are genuinely excited by the intersection of AI and developer tools. Keeping up with generative AI advancements, new APIs, and developer trends is fun for you. Your enthusiasm for the space will be infectious to our users.

Benefits and Perks

  • 100% remote work from anywhere in the world. No location-based adjustment to your salary.
  • Autonomous work. We work collaboratively on projects, but you set your own pace.
  • Health, Vision and Dental benefits. Prodia covers 100% of the cost for employees.
  • Generous tech allowance for any office setup you need.
  • Quarterly run off-sites.

Compensation Range

At Prodia, we believe in hiring and retaining the best talent, which is why we offer 75th percentile of market rates and receive generous equity packages, as we believe in rewarding our team members for their contributions to our success. Compensation will be based on relevant experience, skills, competencies, and certifications, ensuring that we provide fair and equitable compensation to all of our employees.
