Lead grower engagement and customer success initiatives in agtech, overseeing a team and driving technology adoption among farmers.
Come work alongside some of the most talented minds in the agtech industry. We are a team of innovators who are accelerating the digitization and sustainability of our planet’s food system. At Arable, you will have the unique opportunity to build something meaningful with an amazing group of people who care about each other and their work.
What we do:
At Arable, our goal is to connect all the world’s farms to help optimize the global food system. This is an ambitious goal, but the need has never been greater to rethink how we will feed an ever-growing population and reduce our impact on natural resources. We believe the heart of the solution is digitizing the analog world with high-fidelity data to help food producers optimize their operations. We hope the impact of our work will improve the lives of farmers everywhere and be a major contribution to securing the global food supply for decades to come.
A few examples of the work we’re doing today:
Helping farmers in India and Mozambique adapt to the effects of climate change on their farms with novel data-driven crop insurance
Giving produce growers in California the tools to optimize production and minimize waste
Helping irrigated farms in Nebraska manage water more efficiently and sustainably to protect our water supply
Location Requirement: This role requires in-office presence 2-3 days per week in San Francisco, CA.

This is a senior, customer-centric role that requires deep expertise in working with farmers to adopt technology, agronomy and irrigation. You will be responsible for driving customer success, managing a growing team (4-6 members), and participating in cross-functional leadership discussions. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in digital agriculture, agronomy, irrigation management, and grower engagement, with the ability to scale impact across diverse farming regions.
What you will do:
- Manage and mentor a growing team (4-6 members) focused on grower success, ensuring high-impact customer relationships and support.
- Build strong relationships with farmers and agronomic professionals to facilitate the adoption of Arable’s water and irrigation technology.
- Oversee implementation, support, and optimization of Arable’s solutions, ensuring customers maximize value from our technology.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Sales, and Executive Leadership to refine strategy, influence product roadmaps, and drive adoption.
- Support the introduction and integration of sensor-based technologies on farms, demonstrating their value and impact.
- Establish strong relationships internally and externally to ensure the success of customer programs and broader organizational goals.
What you bring:
- 7+ years of experience in farmer-facing roles within ag tech, customer success, or related fields.
- Strong background in agronomy and irrigation, with a deep understanding of grower needs and water management strategies.
- Experience introducing digital ag technologies (ideally sensor-based solutions) on farms, helping growers optimize their operations.
- Proven leadership and people management experience, with the ability to mentor and grow a team.
- Exceptional cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to work across Product, Sales, and Executive teams.
- Experience with startups is a plus.
- Location: Based in the Bay Area or Midwest/Great Plains (e.g. NE, KS, OK, TX, CO, IL, IN) with the ability to travel 50%+ to support customers and teams.
- Degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Engineering, Irrigation Science, Environmental Science, or a related field.
