About the Role
We're seeking a strategic, creative, and data-driven leader to head our Flywheel Product Marketing team for Jira, Confluence, and Teamwork Collections. You'll lead a team of ~10 PMMs responsible for building and optimizing our web presence, running top-of-funnel brand campaigns, onboarding and activating new customers, and creating content that drives organic growth.
This role is pivotal in shaping how millions of users discover, learn about, and succeed with Atlassian's flagship products. You'll partner closely with Product, Brand, Growth, and Analytics teams to deliver measurable business impact and set the standard for product-led growth in SaaS.

To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:
Zone A: $209,700 - $273,775
Zone B: $189,000 - $246,750
Zone C: $174,600 - $227,950
This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.

What You'll Do
- Lead and inspire a team of Product Marketing Managers focused on the full customer journey-from awareness to activation and engagement.
- Own the strategy and execution for Atlassian's product marketing flywheel:
- Develop and optimize the website experience for Jira, Confluence, and Teamwork Collections.
- Drive top-of-funnel brand and demand generation campaigns.
- Oversee onboarding and activation programs to ensure new customers realize value quickly.
- Build and scale content programs (SEO, thought leadership, templates, guides) to drive organic traffic and engagement.
- Partner cross-functionally with Product, Brand, Growth, and Analytics to align on goals, share insights, and deliver integrated go-to-market strategies.
- Champion experimentation and data-driven decision making to continuously improve marketing performance and customer outcomes.
- Mentor and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and growth.
- Represent the voice of the customer and market, ensuring our messaging and experiences resonate with diverse audiences-from technical teams to business leaders.
About You
- 12+ years of experience in product marketing, growth marketing, or related roles in SaaS or technology companies.
- Proven success leading and developing high-performing marketing teams.
- Deep expertise in web, content, and digital marketing, with a track record of driving measurable growth through organic and paid channels.
- Experience building and executing top-of-funnel brand and demand generation campaigns.
- Strong understanding of onboarding, activation, and customer lifecycle marketing.
- Data-driven mindset with experience using analytics to inform strategy and optimize performance.
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
- Passion for Atlassian's mission and products; experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar collaboration tools is a plus.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly cross-functional, and global environment.
