About DataCamp

DataCamp's mission is to empower everyone with the data and AI skills essential for 21st-century success. By providing practical, engaging learning experiences, DataCamp equips learners and organizations of all sizes to harness the power of data and AI. As a trusted partner to over 17 million learners and 6,000+ companies, including 80% of the Fortune 1000, DataCamp is leading the charge in addressing the critical data and AI skills shortage.

About the role

As part of our mission to make data and cloud fluency accessible to all, you’ll lead a dynamic team of instructors, content creators, and technologists to craft cutting-edge courses and projects that shape the future of cloud education. Cloud technologies are transforming how businesses operate, with platforms like AWS, Azure, and GCP at the forefront. As our Head of Cloud Curriculum, you’ll be instrumental in driving this transformation, helping learners worldwide build the skills they need to succeed.

In this role, you’ll own the cloud content strategy and roadmap, working hand-in-hand with our expert instructors and the broader Cloud Curriculum team — a talented group of educators, data scientists, and technologists. Your focus will be to continuously grow and enrich our cloud content library with impactful new materials. From courses to practice pools to real-world projects, you’ll serve as a thought partner, reviewer, and passionate advocate for our learners.

With a strong technical foundation in platforms like AWS and Azure, and the ability to influence across functions, you'll make data-driven decisions and successfully lead complex, high-impact projects. If you have a genuine passion for cloud education and are excited to shape the next generation of cloud professionals while building the world's premier network of cloud instructors, this role is for you.

About you

At DataCamp, we look for individuals who embody our core values: data-driven action, transparency, ownership, and an unwavering focus on our learners. You thrive in a fast-paced, high-performing environment and are driven by a passion for democratizing access to data and cloud technologies.

Your entrepreneurial mindset and collaborative spirit push you beyond simply meeting targets — you’re motivated to empower learners worldwide to succeed in an increasingly cloud-first world. You're a true team player who enjoys working across functions: whether you're partnering with internal engineering, product, marketing, sales, and support teams, or rolling up your sleeves to strategize directly with clients, you bring energy and curiosity to every collaboration.

You believe that people, processes, technology, and data are the essential ingredients for digital transformation — and you're energized by the opportunity to help learners advance their cloud knowledge and skills. If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you!

Responsibilities

In this role, you will focus your time on the following areas:

  • Define the Vision: Set the strategy for our Cloud Curriculum roadmap (AWS, Azure, GCP, cloud engineering, DevOps, and beyond).
  • Lead and Inspire: Manage a talented team of content developers and collaborate with external experts to create best-in-class learning experiences.
  • Stay Ahead of the Curve: Monitor industry trends and emerging cloud technologies to keep our curriculum at the forefront.
  • Drive Impact: Build engaging, practical learning paths that help learners unlock career opportunities and enable enterprise teams to scale cloud adoption.
  • Collaborate Cross-functionally: Partner closely with product, marketing, and enterprise teams to ensure our curriculum meets the evolving needs of learners and customers.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of management experience, leading teams to success.
  • Strong technical background with hands-on experience in cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
  • Proficiency in SQL and/or Python.
  • Familiarity with cloud architecture, services, and industry best practices.
  • Cloud certifications (AWS and/or Azure) are a plus but not required.
  • Passion for working collaboratively with subject matter experts and cross-functional partners.
  • Experience with interactive technical education platforms like DataCamp or similar.
  • Ability to synthesize, visualize, and clearly communicate complex ideas, including to non-technical audiences.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Comfortable challenging ideas constructively and knowing when to push back or seek compromise to drive the best outcomes for the company.
